Gosh it's bulky. I mean it's okay that it is built to make you feel comfortable holding it, but this will not catch attention to average consumers, when there are those lightweight slick thin tablets like iPad out there.... Not to mention that since it shares it's name with the old Wii, i'd guess that many would think of it as yet another expansion, for the Wii, considering the console itself looks very similar to the Wii.

It is bulky, kinda looks like a child's toy and and it doesn't really simplify gaming the way the original did. I don't think it's the sort of thing "casual gamers" (sorry) are going to want kicking around their living room. That said, Nintendo have proven me wrong before.

Irrelevant. For example the iPhone 4 is in no way the best phone out there but the mindless sheep buy it nevertheless. "They" , me including, were right to be doubtful about the Wii Motion, it was terrible for 3 years until they made the Motion Plus and the selection of games never got any better outside Nintendo's usual franchises. I'm ok with Playstation copying it as long as they improve on it, the selection of games is clearly larger and better anyway.

Funny how the entire E3 explanation of the wii U was about the controller. I mean, that's a friggin sega game gear! Its huge, big and bulky. Enough with the controllers, what's up with the console, so far, all that has been said is... HD. They make it sound like HD was invented yesterday.
