Preety tame- too Oirish - the original was about Irish emigrants, and there was a purpose to it. The more I listen, the more sickly it becomes.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Now why don't they show THIS on Public TV here in the US? I like this a lot better than the Celtic Women stuff.
Oh, the music was recorded live. It just sounds so clean because they picked the audio up from the stage mics. Good stage mics will do that.

Sorry, I don't think it can be live. It sounds exactly the same as the album version on Forgiven Not Forgotten, and I mean EXACTLY the same. Listen to it on CD and see if you can spot a difference.

@a1193851 you are an idiot, of course it's live how else could they do it? especially with the chieftains playing along, they wouldn't stand for anything only a live performance.
