This is the game you have been waiting for. Why is GreenPleco different from any other mobile app you ask? Well for starters how many apps are out there that are really FUN and donate money to help animals and the environment. Also how many have a Pleco as a main character. Just visit our webpage and see for yourself.
hey guys, in reply to a few questions on here, he got rehomed around 16 months ago; firstly because he was big and clumsy, and i was making the move to marine. he ate loads, full cucumber a week! Never saw any agression from him or others but prob due to size. Had adequate filtration; over 3000 lph on 370ish litre
not to sound like a prick, or a fishophile. ha! but if you ever touch a Pleco they are hard as a rock so I don't think many fish could bother them unless they get at the underside. I keep one about this size with two full grown Red Eared Sliders and have never had any trouble but him growing so fast off their waste. nice fish btw.
that thing looks awesome i cant wait till mine grows up :) i got a nice 150 gallon tank waiting for him when he is ready to move into a mansion aquarium
@Starlucid1 You'd kill an animal because you failed to do research before buying it? Common plecos get HUGE! Put an ad on craigs list or something. Bushynose plecos don't get big though.
@skyressmaster12 I've got you guys beat. I don't have him now, but he's probably still alive. They live a long time. If turned loose they can grow 6-7 feet long. The largest one I had was about 23" long when I traded him in. They gave me $40 for him. He also would swim up to the top of the tank & flip on his back & allow me to put food in his mouth. They put him in their biggest tank & went to feed to see if he really would do that. And of course he did. He became a hit, drew a crowd.
@drjulesd Lucky Lol. I used to have cichlids and a smallish pleco in one tank and they picked him to death while I was gone one day. I was not happy when I came home :L
@drjulesd My Cichlids only seem to hate smaller cichlids. The catfish I have in there are fine and they never messed with the pacus till I gave those away. I have to keep a separate tank to grow the cichlids in.
@TheLeftylegend14... Cichlids do bother slower moving fish, but that also just depends on which fish wants the food more... My Plecostomus for instance gets picked on because I simply do not have enough decent hiding spots for them... I am getting them very soon though, like this upcoming Tuesday, My Cichlids will have a nice home in some very cool Cichlid Stones...
@TheLeftylegend14 Also, I just reviewed the video a couple more times... Look at the Pleco's tail in this video... He has been nipped at, my Julie's do the same thing... just on the tail though... but also the Pleco fish won't exactly bother anything, just as long as you feed them enough, because when you feed your other fish, they tend to go and steal that food as well...
@drjulesd no its not, thats a liposarcus.reconiseable by the darker color and slender body.the hypostomus plecostomus is dark brown and has a wider body,a more muscular look.both grow out to around 40 cm for females and around 55 cm for males.
