  • Yes but Drexler was better than any other 2 guard MJ faced in the playoffs or Finals. Drexler woulda still been nice on offense. Nobody was stopping MJ, just as nobody from today would stop him either. Houston had the pieces necessary to be able to beat Chicago. Not saying that I think they would have for sure, but they could have, and this is why I say I wish the series woulda happened, so that we would know for sure how it would have ended up.

  • haha, what fucking idiots are spaming down there ?

no one wants to read that, so go to a chatroom :pp

  • Grant played with MJ 4 a long time. He knew better than getting in front of him. lol Definitely a nice move my GOAT. But definitely not n in ya face type of dunk on Horace. Still, I give it 100 of out 5. Just cause is MJ. lol

  • After all of those years, Horace Grant should have known better =)!!!

  • karma is a bitch!!!

  • it's little bit sad

  • I wish Grant woulda never left the Bulls

  • @Loudmouf84 if grant stayed there rodman wouldnt be able to come to the bulls and no 72-10

  • @samtheman7975 Not certain that I agree, but you just might be right. I do think that 96 Bulls team coulda won 70 with Horace, but I could be wrong. Do you think they still would have won the championship that year, and the 2 years after??

  • @Loudmouf84 they would still win the championships but probaly no 72-10

  • @Loudmouf84 nah my man. Rodman was THE KEY to that second 3peat. yes MJ and Pip were the core and leaders but Rodman brought to the Bulls what Tyson Chandler brought to the Maverciks... A toughness, an attitude that the defined them on both ends. even if he didnt score much he still demanded so much attention from the opposing D due to his rebounding prowess. its almost as if he had to be doubled on the glass as much as u had to double on MJ and Pip on the perimeter...

  • @jaymtl79 Horace was better offensively, more of a scoring threat but Rodman was a beast. you could beat Horace up and he'd yield. He still came through but needed MJ and Pip. Denis needed nobody. he was always on his game. Just like Mike, he never needed extra motivation to play. just threw on his jersey went out and tore shit up. He'd lose it every so often but the rest of the Bulls knew, when it came down to crunch time he was always at the front lines. gotta love the worm.

  • @jaymtl79 I definitely agree all the way about Rodman. The guy was amazing. Played the game the right way and was a basketball genius in my opinion. Dude worked his ass off on the court. When I say I think the Bulls woulda still won it all with Grant instead of Rodman, it's not to take away from Rodman's contribution. Dude was a rare gem in the game of basketball.

  • @Loudmouf84 I'm a huge Horace fan, we share a last name so when I was kid I was all about Horace. I guess at the time had MJ stuck around instead of heading to the diamond, they might have still been good enough to take it all. All i Know is the Bulls record against the Rockets in the 90's wasnt in favor of the Bulls.

  • @jaymtl79 yea, I was a huge fan of both the Bulls & Rockets back then. Hakeem is still my favorite center ever. If Jordan had not retired, I do think the Bulls would have been in the finals against the Rockets, possibly both in 94 & 95. It would have been great to see, especially since the Bulls never played anyone in the finals with a dominant center. Bulls vs Rockets woulda been legendary. Would have been the best finals of the 90's, especially when the Rockets had Clyde.

  • @Loudmouf84 from what I've read in a couple of places, that's the 1 team the Bulls said they were fortunate never to run into in the Finals. MJ himself said it they had no answer for the Dream on O or D. Hakeem would have been a nightmare for Chitown. still being the Bulls fan that I am I have to think MJ would have again pulled a rabbit out of hat and got that W.

  • @jaymtl79 Man, that woulda been awesome to see. I easily woulda preferred to see that Finals matchup over any that I have seen yet. I will always wish MJ woulda never retired the 1st time. Pippen & Horry woulda been matched up. Hakeem woulda destroyed. Rockets were way deeper too. It woulda taken MJ & Pippen playing their best ball to win. I think it coulda happened. Woulda been nice to see, no matter who won. Oh well, at least we got to see Hakeen vs Patrick in 94 & Hakeem vs Shaq in 95

  • @Loudmouf84 hey my man, u can play that match up in 2k12. if u play and own it on PS3 add me and ill battle when we have a chance. jaymtl79 is my PSN. if u dont play video games, id suggest finding a friend who does and at least renting this game. I take the 71-72 Lakers with Wilt and Jerry "The Logo" West. FYIA. just to see how much detail they put in the ol' school teams bring me back 20 years. MJ for president and u and I should run something also. we seem to think a like...

  • @jaymtl79 ahh damn, I play the game but I play on xbox and I'm not online. I'm a Kings fan 1st, from Sacramento, and I run the Kings all day on there lol. Me and my boys get together and have battles, it goes down. Tyreke does stupid damage, and the entire team gets off. This is the best 2k yet. They did a great job on the old school teams. The detail is great, and the movement on this game is crazy. So many moves too

  • @Loudmouf84 MJ would have beaten the Rockets in the finals...end of story!

  • @Domini478 Hard to say 4 sure. I think Hakeem & the Rockets would have presented the biggest challenge to the Bulls of any team they played in the Finals, and would have had the best shot at beating them. MJ is the greatest ever and nobody respects his competitive edge and consistent excellence more than me. Pippen is the most underrated superstar ever (along with Sprewell & Richmond), and those Bulls teams were amazing. Still, Rockets were excellent as well. Hakeem woulda dominated.

  • @Domini478 Don't forget that the Rockets had Drexler to guard MJ & Horry to guard Pippen. All the Bulls woulda had for Olajuwon would have been Luc Longley. I believe the series woulda gone 7 games. We might have seen this matchup in both 94 & 95 had MJ not retired. Woulda been so epic! Idk who would have won but the Rockets were the best team from the West in the 90's, hands down. Bulls never had to face them. I have no doubt that the Bulls coulda won, & I feel the same about Houston

  • @Loudmouf84 Drexler wasn't nothing to MJ. MJ used to avg 35 points against him.

  • @jaymtl79 I understand all that about Rodman and I fully agree bro. I just happen to think the team still would have been the best and won championships even if they had Grant instead of Rodman. No, he would not have done as much damage on the glass, and the energy Rodman brought to the floor was great, but I just still think they would have been the best. They just had too much squad on top of already having the 2 best players in the game, along with the best coaching staff.

  • no hard feelings old pal. I'm just the GOAT, you know....

  • I wonder if Grant felt "under appreciated" on that one

  • @bignikfull u do realize that this was after grant left the bulls right?

  • @kbjohnson85 lol that fool got his history mixed up.

  • shudda stayed with the Bulls

  • im glad jordan dunked on that traitor

  • You Were My Teammate, now you my enemy. I'm gonna dunk on you.

  • MJ as he flies by Grant in the air:

"Remember when I used to do this to you in practice?"

  • jordan--"GET OUT MY WAY NIGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

  • @texlonghorns16 - why dont you go get an education before using revolting racial insults like that... (the irony is that u probably are black anyway)

  • Why did Grant jump? He won 3 rings with MJ. He knew what was going to happen,

  • horace grant became "Hoe grant" wit dis shyt here...his E.T lookin ass just got pissed on!

  • harace grant lives in my city ha

  • Naaa that was NOT a fly by. . J adjusted in the air and Grant gave up early so he wouldn't get the facial and the foul. It's not as nasty as it should have been. Grant pussed out.

  • ok if you say so. except at this point Grant was still pissed at the Bulls and Jordan for the treatment he received in Chicago. Grant NEVER went out to dinner with Jordan during this period. it wasn't a facial; Grant just never had a chance to block it because he was too far away. but dont get it twisted thinking in the heat of hte moment Grant decides he will not try against a person who humiliated and tortured him as a teammate

  • @arkade2345 Haul ass...MJ dunked on him...bitch!

  • Grant wasnt dunked on I call it a fly by, but still good

  • @Duker114 You kidding me? He jumped to block him, he even touched MJ's arm...he was dunked on.

  • @Duker114 Uh... watchu talkin bout Willis? Grant was dunked on.

  • @Duker114 HAHA YOU WANKER, HE GOT OWNED JUST LIKE I OWNED YO MUMMA!! OOOOHHHH SHITTTTTT.

  • @Duker114 Grant still went up for the block, so it's still a Posterizes
