Furtheremore, "La Bamba" (from Mexico) has nothing to do with "samba" (from Brazil). That is riduculous! La Bamba is sung in Spanish, samba is sung always in Portuguese. Chubby Checker can be a good musician, but he knows nothing about Latin American culture. Terrible lyrics! God bless Rithie Valens.

I big time dig the movie footage of Cocoa Beach, the conga drum guy, and all the beach goers doing their thing while the song played.
