  • Bozo me--I thought this was Jacky Ward singing this song. I stand corrected.

  • Surely one of the most versatile entertainers.A real talent

  • the best version of this song!

  • essa música me lembra os meus 15 aninhos, eh tempo bom

  • Ray Stevens is just so versatile. From comedy like Ahab the Arab and Gitzarzan to serious songs like Everything is Beautiful to Mr Businessman, and a country flavored song like this. I do like Johnny Mathis' song but this is just awesome!

  • fabulous song,i remember this was noel edmonds from radio 1 (in the 1970's) record of the week,i use to hear this before i went to school at 8.30 am in sunny merry england.

  • He does look different. I'm so used to seeing him with a beard and mustache. Handsome! I wonder what he'd look like today if he shaved his beard and mustache.

  • @Seattlecarnut He DOES look different. I've been watching him on t.v. since the '70's and would not have noticed. He looks better this way. Not as goofy.

  • Respond to this video... I was totally shocked when this song came out. I did not know that he could actually sing without the goofy get ups and silly words. I guess that he did those crazy songs (like Ahab the Arab) because he knew that he had talent and could do what he wanted...as long as a pay check came in.

  • @ekocentric I know what you mean. It's not that I don't like humour, because I do. It's just that his form of humour can get old fast and you just want a good song now and then.

  • @ekocentric

I was as shocked as you were. Some great pipes that is for sure.

  • He sure looks different clean shaven and had more hair back then.

  • weltklasse!!!

  • Dnload the audio from this clip at searchripgrab doht cohm.

  • how can you not like this? i'm not a real country music lover but i know good stuff when i hear it.

  • Billboard's #92 song for '75. Ray hit #3 country, #8 AC, #14 pop. How'd it do in the UK? God bless!

  • SOOPERB!!

  • I always loved Ray singing this, brilliant , but was suprised to find out this was a covered song by him, who did he cover it by?

  • @sottythesecond - originally written and performed by the great jazz pianist Errol Garner.

  • Always loved this - it is a very happy song...love it love it.....going into my favourites....xxx thanks for this.....xxx

  • Ray Stevens is the BEST!! Thank you for posting this video!
