Moskva carries cruise missles that strike at like 3,000 mph and is just at advanced at targeting and attacking multiple ships simulataneously as any US or any other missle cruiser. The US ships are weaker actually in some respects- Tomohawks suck- they are sub sonic and go around 600 mph which make them extremely easy to shoot out of the sky.

The ships are also off Russias large coast in the black sea and can be targeting and hit by cruise missle bombers, land base cruise, you name it.
