I never realized people were so miserable, I love life. I love my job in the Navy, it's stressful and hard but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my friends and family. I love God most of all. I think some people confuse 'not having their way', 'monotony', and 'lack of money' for unhappy.
A lot of people want office jobs but office jobs suck. Get a physical job and although it pays less it keeps you sane and even in shape. Money isn't everything.
I always love this part, because I felt like Peter. Now that I'm laid off, everyday is REALLY the worst day of my life!! At least I don't get a case of the "Mondays" now ;P
I have to input the information of gas and electricity meter readings onto excel, then chase up and create queries if they're not in line. I loathe this job, I absolutely fucking loathe it, and it's only been 4 days.
i felt just like this guy when i was stuck 2 years in an insurance company listening to audio recordings of telemarketers....try to top that level of ...don't even have a word to describe the feeling,but FUCK,everyday was worse than the day before...i came to a point where i just stopped working,seriously,i just sat there and used my headphones to listen to music instead of supervising the sales thing,8 hours straight for no less than 6 months,wich was when my boss fired me ;D
@sheshdd I can top that, try working in a liquor store. There is no such thing as a good day. There isnt a day that goes by that doesnt involve me wanting to punching thing as hard as i can. This scene and the printer scenes are basically the story of my life
I'm pretty sure I have this condition. My job just sucks the life out of me. However, at this point I'm just lucky to have a job so I guess i just have to get over it.
@shootxthexmessenger Me too. I'm so much happier on my days off and then when work starts...it all comes crashing down. Even the day off before work is slightly ruined by work looming in my brain. I laughed to myself when my job mad a new holiday no complaining rule. I work in retail, I'll complain all I want about no good self-centered people who have the "world revolves around me" attitude. They need to make a pill for that.

Not all physical jobs pay dick. I left my "office job" for my current "physical job" primarily because the pay was more than double.
