@HUSKERDUDE1793 The AA12 is the best??? Everybody would argue that the striker is the best shotgun without a doubt. It can fire almost as fast as the aa12, as a tighter spread, higher max/min damage, further range and FAR more ammo. The aa12 has enough ammo to kill about 3 people before your empty.

The type actully isn't that overpowered like it kills in three bullets and if you pay attention most assault rifles kill in 3 bullets if you hit with all three but its just the type shoots so damn rapid it puts 3 bullets In you as fast as other assault rifles put on 1 bullet

@jimbillinski They patched it. It isn't used too much anymore. The only problem left with shotguns is the striker. KSG and the 1887 both take skill to use.

i am currently trying to level up my spas 12 to get the damage proficiency and i have to say it is probobly the most infuriating process i have tryed on this game you can literally walk up on someone who is camping shoot them in the side of the body ads and get a hit marker and before you have the time to pump the shotgun they can turn and spray you down with an smg

I do not know if it is the same in MW3 but like the other Cod games I have used shottys on, using steady aim, and hipfireing does more damage then when you aim. Reason: when you aim, it spreads the shot more for accuracy, when you hipfire, it seems to keep it more together, and although accuracy isn't as good, nor is the distance, it does more damage. I recommend remembering this when using it often.

it isnt like the mw2 spas this gun sucks. Range is better for it anyways, it lets you kill people from a distance that wasn't even possible with or without damage.

only way this shit gun is good is when you get good proficiency on it.

i got both the striker and spas gold and i found that with the striker range is better but with the spas damge is better

I haven't got there with the Spas-12 yet but I've tried Range And Damage on the striker and range gets me a lot more kills because the damage is good enough you just gotta get good hitmarkers. I need to get Spas this high and try range/damage to see which is better for it but im working and its hard.

actually emags increases the pellets by 50%. and half of 8 is 4, so it only shoots 12 pellets not 16. But still an amazing improvement

and range is way better than damage, watch tmartn's video, you will be suprised

@Dtarno tmart was wrong trust me. I used both and damage is better by far. With range you get hitmarkers where if you had damage on just a one shot kill.
