I have had sticker problem with some transformer encore robots, but i realized i need to wash them with alcohol to remove the greasy surface they had before applying the stickers to make them stick.

By the way the drilltank looks as a tunnel drill construction vehicle or some type of mining vehicle.

Currently rewatching the series and there is a reason for the Drill Tank. It was a prototype mining machine being delivered to a Mining expedition in Australia.

Here is a funny fact from my life.

when i was 3 or 6 years old i had that big black guy BUT he was sold as a SEPARATE TOY and i played with it very much and do discovered that he can form legs but couldnt understand why there are any other pieces to combine with. Once in the shop i found that yellow dude but again sold as just 1 toy and recolored as pink >.>

Oh man. I love this review. I actually have this guy, got it when I was allot younger and I never knew where it was from (until recently).

Though mine is in a bad shape somewhat (missing wheels, broken parts etc) I still love the guy.

Plastic Material on the Takara version is very good quality...same sticker issues on mine, but I guess it was the sticker quality produced during that time....very close to the Transformation on the series...Lander 4 is actually greenish in color on the actual toy, but on photos and videos it turns blue....It's a great vintage toy specially when it transforms into Land Bison.

I like how Seven Changer was kickn their butt. He was badass in d cartoon though. Turbo looks like Transformers Cybertron Clocker/Swerve KO. Seems like only good part in this toy is when u combine them together

I believe that that specific manner of "drill tank" (the one with two drills at the front) is used as an homage to GaoGaiGar which used such a tank prominently as the legs of a combined mecha. I could be wrong- there might be an even older common source, but I'm pretty sure it's something that was in one classic series and then referenced/stolen in a bunch of other stuff.

On second thought, this is the same exact thing I used to own, down to the chrome, stickering and weapons. Watching you tinker with the figures kicked in my old muscle memory for these things, haha. Wish I still had it, I think we threw it out many many years ago. Might be worth a look in the attic.

The arm on Mach Lander is common for the Sonokong release. Remove the screw and put clear fingernail polish on the peg to help tighten it up.

Mine has the same QC issues though. Horrible stickers and my Mach Lander has a gimp arm as well. Looks like a widespread QC issue at the time, my Sonokong Da-garn X Stickers are even worse!
