Game was release 11 January 2005 for GameCube but it was suppose to be at winter 2004.

For a game from 2004 it's a very good graphic.

How come Leon says "Shoot them in the head" but and the zombies are dead in one shot while in the game, you have to shoot them in the face to make them distracted and then cut them with a small knife ? Why not just use his ultimate kick that knocks out all the enemies ?

If you've read a book by Dan Brown called Angels & Demons you'll find it eerily similar to the themes in this game. I mean a satanic cult group called the Illuminati that plans to destroy the Catholic Church (the biggest in the world), scientific breakthroughs that defy God's logic. It's really similar. Just so u know, Illuminati in Italian means "the Enlightened Ones," while Los Illuminados in this game means the same thing. Creepy. Plus both of them are satanic cults.

What i find funny is that most people these days who have heard of Resident Evil/Biohazard, have only played 5, 4. Most say that 4 is "way better" than any other RE game. The fact is that, Shinji Mikami, the creator of RE, didn't actualy think of this as a RE game himself. I know everybody has their own opinions, but if the creator hates it and says it should be burnt then maybe you should pay attension.

started playing this again yesterday and my god i have to say this game will NEVER age for me - i still got the same thrill and excitement as when I first played it in Dec 2005. has to be in my top 3 games of all time without question - CLASSIC (Played all 2 versions but the Wii version wins due to it having the complete package< sorry Sony but the audio on the PS2 was awful and graphics weren't as good

As far as gameplay goes, you mostly had to protect her. But saving her meant saving the US.

4th resident evil wasn't irrelevant to it's story, the beginning of re4 was the end of the old stuff. Kind of like Terminator salvation. you can't keep having someone go back through time and protecting john Connor without having it become repetitive. Wesker was still the villain, and all the characters were still who they remained to be.

What more can you do with Umbrella that hasn't already been done?
