I agree with you all the way on BF1943, Bird. As a console player, to this day BF1943 is the best Battlefield I've ever played. The core gameplay was so solid that I didn't care about the lack of maps or guns. I can play that game for months straight.

To be exact, it's actually the civilian version of the the Thompson or the M192. You can tell because the iron sights are different and the M1A1 features a bolt on the right side and a slightly different outer barrel.
