im singing this right now and im an 18 yr old. yes it is very difficult haha, but guilbert n sullivan is great for technique, and i love it. this is such a beautifull song.
Having sung this in HS in 1938, I know how difficult it is for a teen ager to sing. I find this recording by the Welch National Opera to be superb. Definatley something for aspiring amatures to shoot for.
This is one of those songs that, though it sounds simple, and is easy to sing poorly; is quite difficult to sing well. Sir Thomas is perfect.
