I have an old tape of my dad singing this song in late 1973. He recorded it with some friends on ukelele. He passes away just a few weeks after in January 1974. Always brings back loving memories. I play this song for seniors when I do my entertaining. Thanks!!
I am 56 years old and lost my Mother about 12 years ago. As you get older you sometimes forget your childhood memories. As I listen to you sing tis song it reminds me of when I was a child and this was one of my mothers favorite songs. She would take me by the hands and do a sort of a waltz with me and she would sing at the same time with a smile so big it would make me smile too.THANK YOU for bringing that smile and joy back to me. So beautifully done just like my mother use to sing. God Bless.
