Good stuff. Not sure why people complain about instructors trying to make this fun & easy to understand. Upper math is hard enough explaining from the top down as all university profs seem to do. Why not teach it from the bottom up so you don't turn off 98% of the population to the wonders of math? I wish my prof taught like this 20 yrs ago.
I showed this and other videos to my daughter who is struggling with ODE class, and she said this was in the top 5 for introductions to the subject.
some constructive criticism - I had to stop watching this video because of your presentation style and mannerisms, it's as if you're presenting DEs to young children, I couldn't take it. mmhm!
@dson144 I agree fully. I find it quite sad that a teacher feels he has to resort to these kiddy clown mannerisms to keep the attention of older teens, young 20-somethings that we are trying to help become and act like adults.
