I love this kid in the video who does tae kwon do he reminds me of.... me :)

because i fought in a kickboxing fight once and rumor went round that i was a black belt in TKD so i had to fight the black belts of kickboxing and i didnt even have a belt! So i fought them all.... came first!

just goes to show as long as the practise goes in you can beat any other matial art!

as much as i love taekwondo, i'll still give credit to kickboxing

there are tons of martial art vs. another MA videos in youtube. alot of them involve the taekwondo practicioner being very effective with his kick, but then again theres alot that show taekwondo students losing to their opponents. keep in mind this is just one video, not god's judgement on martial arts.

chabon yo practiqo las dos artes y me doy facilmente cuenta de cual es cual. eso no es kickboxing vs kick bixing. eso es tkd vs kick boxing. facil el chiko de tkd si t das cuenta cambia la guardia con sus pies eso tkd, tmb el chiko hace giros eso es tkd. el chiko de tdk en ningun momento tiro low kicks cosa q si hace los de kick boxing.

Agreed i'm not sure but i think they're both either tkd or kickboxing unless this was a mma tournament. An i can't say i agree with Aron, tae kwon do dosn't usually do well but then that was WTF. I do think ITF is WAY better than WTF though.

yeah but you can't put a rugby player against a soccer player you can put an ITF TKD guy against a WTF TKD guy and they have and WTF never wins, in either rules.

actually you can put a rugby team against a soccer team in a soccer match. the rugby team will lose cause the soccer team has had the better training for soccer specifically. can you assess the analogy im making here?

joe has a point, I think an ITF guy would lose to a WTF practitioner simply due to the WTF's familiarity with WTF rules...and vice versa.
