Pills are complicated. It's impossible to generalize all of them. Some are 'good' and some are 'bad', and usually in different ways. So, I ask again: what's the downside? I won't deny that they're _unfamiliar_, especially to the population-at-large, but dismissing 'pills' out of hand is foolish.
