if me and a few dudes were backing sky up i'd try to play something almost ambient and let the man relax and improvise his great lyrics.....calm, cool, low bass notes........a problem i find with a lot of young musicians is it's number 11 or nothing.....oh well, a lot of older folks can be wympy too, which is also annoying.......anyway, sky was a beautiful person...RIP

I agree, louder doesn't always mean better, in fact the older I get the less that is true lol. I remember them from my childhood. Always wondered what happened to them. I loved that garage band sound they had, still prefer that sound to overproduced music.

Today is a sad day. Sky Saxon was a great man, his music will be always on our mind, i 25/06/09 RIP.

Sky & I had some amazing times together. He had an incredible presence. We'd walk down the street together & people would slow down & just stare. Love you Sky!! I miss you so much!!
