well the imagration law is fucked up! but I work in retail and we bust shoplifters all the time, and cops ask for id everytime they show up, weather or not they have proof that a crime was commited. Police always run Id in a taffic stop or whatever, police DO have the right to stop anyone and ask for ID if they have "probable cause" The reason being is that if someone has a warrent out for there arrest they can take you in.
Actually, a police officer can walk up and ask you anything without any reason whatsoever. They can't detain you for no reason but they can ask you... for i.d., if you have drugs, a gun, if your having a nice day or anything else. That is a casual encounter.

Its rediculous to ask for their birth certificate.
But 1070 doesnt give the police the authority to ask for a BC.
If you get caught speeding, or committed a crime, you should expect to show your from this country. If Obama is against 1070, then you know its against the NWO agenda. This is about state vs federal power. I side with the states.

I do not see any conflict in any of this other than the paranoid state of mind that 4409 exhibits. Ive spent a lot of time in AZ over the last year and I have never witnessed any activities like this. More than once I have had interaction with police without ID and they did not detain me AND I AM BROWN !

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand we have the feds which do not enforce our borders, and the states have no choice but to do it themselves, or have a bunch of illegals here using our resources at OUR expense.

But, big business has sent millions of our jobs overseas, and those that couldn't be done overseas (such as the service and hospitality sector, construction, and food processing) they've brought in cheap and uneducated labor from south America (although they're also now catching Chinese crossing the border). We are seeing our standard of living and freedoms eroding away thanks to corporations and the government (globalism).

I am against us being in Libya and the bailouts, but I am also against any of our tax dollars being spent on citizens of another country... unless it is to help after a major natural disaster (such as Haiti). well the imagration law is fucked up! but I work in retail and we bust shoplifters all the time, and cops ask for id everytime they show up, weather or not they have proof that a crime was commited. Police always run Id in a taffic stop or whatever, police DO have the right to stop anyone and ask for ID if they have "probable cause" The reason being is that if someone has a warrent out for there arrest they can take you in.

Actually, a police officer can walk up and ask you anything without any reason whatsoever. They can't detain you for no reason but they can ask you... for i.d., if you have drugs, a gun, if your having a nice day or anything else. That is a casual encounter.
