I started to live with my grandma so she find new parents for me. I meet Tina and Paul and they to the court and the judge said yes and they take care of me and they love me so much. I think adoption is special.
you're such a beautiful person, you have such a big heart. You are a blessing and inspiration, you are making the difference. Your children sound amazing and they're so lucky to have you. I have four adopted cousins and would love to take a child in someday.
When I met my wife she already had 3 boys from a previous marrage. One of the boys is mentaly handicap. Having always lived alone this was a big change in my life. Now I have a 1 1/2yo son and a 2 1/2yo daughter. We are one big family but if I had the room and the funds I would love to have some more children. It's fun watching them learn about the world and it makes me feel good to teach them things that they will pass on to others.
My sister and i are both adopted. (me: 25 years old, mainly spanish, born in '80, and my sister is 14,vietnamese born in '92.) It's amazing cause both of our adoption situations were TOTALLY different! lol! Adoption is something I'd really like to do, in the future of course. after seeing this vid, it's pretty obvious that the adoption process has changed a lot (compared to the stories my mom told, anyway.) but overall, i'm glad i watched this video! adoption is great. you're a saint!
Thanks for explaining the foster care system from a foster parent's perspective. Sometimes it can be a very difficult process, but that just weeds out anyone who is interested in the state funds.... they shouldn't be caring for kids in the first place. Again, I truly feel that you have made a huge difference in the world!!
