Then after they cause accidents and kill people, they just go beck to mexico. Then what's really funny is that they are right back the next day with a whole new identity!

That's what following distance is for. It doesn't matter if the truck driver threw an anchor out the window to stop, the person following them should be far enough back to see that they are stopping. WERE YOU THERE AS IT HAPPENED? Didn't think so. I was on the east bound side. ALL TRAFFIC going west was slowing for construction, and YES, the kid driving the pick up caused it all. He was speeding in and out of traffic, and as the left lane ended,, it was too late foe him to stop, and HE WAS TEXTING. Not paying attention to his surroundings. NOT the truck drivers fault. Get your story straight.

The state was adding another lane. I feel that the bus drivers were not looking very far in front of them. The backup should have been seen for more than a mile in front of them, as this site is on an upgrade preceeded by a downgrade. Perhaps there was tailgating also. This happened near Villa Ridge.

This is why I hate it when vehicles (especially large ones) tailgate (me or others). In this case, the pickup did rear-end the semi, but even if you're travelling at a safe distance and a large vehicle doesn't break before hitting you from the back, chances are your going into the back of the person in front of you anyway = smushed car/person. Just remember if that happens to you DO NOT BREAK! Accelerate (to detach from the larger vehicle behind) and swerve away (to avoid the one ahead)!

A pick up truck ran into the back of the semi and a bus (full of marching band students on their way to six flags) ran into, then up on top of the pick up. Then another bus (full of more marching band students, I believe) ran into the mess. The pick up was completely crushed and the driver was fatally injured. Many students on the buses were injured, one killed.
@rocket71792 I'm serious. In fact I still have the pics saved. We were passing through St. Loius to get to Jeff City to visit my brother. The accident was shortly after we passed Six Flags heading West.
I drive a school bus. A wreck is every bus drivers nightmare - especially with injuries and fatalities. I hope that all involved receive the medical, pyscological, and ministerial care they will undoubtedly need.

Semi slowed down on freeway, LIKELY using GEARS, not brakes. (No warning to driver following).
Texting driver runs into rear of slowing semi. LIKELY not fatal.
1st bus following texting driver not paying attention to what is ahead.
1st bus crashes into back of pickup truck which had just hit semi.
2nd bus driver LIKELY tailgating 1st bus driver, smashed into back of 2nd bus, causing pickup to be rammed onto back of semi.
3 "Professional drivers" who caused this, not texter.
