well Lovecraft created Cthulhu probably as a creature that would scare HIM, but the fact is we are all scared by differant things. ive seen Cthulhu renderings that were pretty Effed up, and even ones that freaked me out a bit. he may even appear completely differantly to you, probably a more freaky version.
