@Maxiss86 Let us know what you do with the fuel system. I have had the same idea but was thinking of a small turbo I have lying around and was worried about the fuel side. Top fabrication job by the way. How much boost are you running and how lean is the mixture at 5000rpm?
Would you care to give an insight into the bolting on of the SC? Also, did you move the K-Jetronic to the right hand side, or is it like this in the W116? Mine is a G-Class.
@singingjazzdancer Which is not so quite amazing, you put a supercharger on the side, so it sucks air through a K-Jetronic. Due to limited space I had to put the K-Jetronic right side. Originally, it is all M110 engines on the left side.
@singingjazzdancer Fuel pipes should be the same size from beginning to end, and preferably the same length. That's the first test of the video was tested at the temporary pipes, just test the sense that if this all possible. Street improved to normal soon, such as tubes made of the same thickness. D-Jet will automatically adjust the mixture properly (at least in my case), the more air flowing through it, the more fuel it. Simple!
That's sweet. I was always thinking of doing this with my 350se. But I tought it was never possible because of the K-jett. I did also think about the supercharger after the K-jett. Now I know it's possible. Maybe some day I start that project. The v8's dont have an high compression ratio, (1:9? or something) so that's not a big issue. but the m110 had more. How did you solve that? addapting pistons? thicker headgasket? Or did you just bolt on the supercharger?
@TitoTyfus I have issue fuel supply, maybe k-jet or fuel pump... fuel supply is not good at the higher rpms. The M110 engine has same compression ratio 9:1.. i just bolted supercharger on. so no adapted pistons or thicher gasket... i have just got dyno paper, 217hp/5000rpm on wheels, and then the fuel supply issue came. More power when i solve the issue.
the engine sounds ugly i think... sounds like you are making tee

w116 THE BEST CAR OF THE HISTORY

so standard 180 and only 217? not worth the engine wear?

@julzhickman Yes it is, but the 217 is wheel power. Not a standard W116 smoke rings around lightly.

Anyway. Nice job!

Supercharger is M90. the K- Jet still unmodified, no fuel pressure raised. The car haven't b been in dynamometer yet. just tested after installation.

Nice!
M62, M90?
If I see correctly you still have the k-jet system. Any mods? More fuel pressure I guess.
Give us some details, please!
