  • i love the little guy with the cigar!!! surely he has a name???!!!

  • @swann62 we call him Belushi after the 1942 movie 1941? It's a Slimline pilot... they're expensive 35bucks but really cool pilots

  • Love the onboard footage of the Sopwith pilot moving his head. Very nice touch!

  • @Stryder46 thanks a lot, couple other videos with him, and I want to do it again on a bigger model

  • HAHAHA

  • i love wen u turn the rudder the pilots head moves! thats soooo cool!!!!!

  • Interesting! Thanks guys!

  • @gator1984atcomcast thanks for watching, just posted a great video from a Jet Rally, turbines sounded awesome

  • I have to ask where can I buy one of the ww1 pilots who is smoking the cigar?

I have my own Se5 and have to have one fo those pilots for it.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

  • @spitfiremk1uk thanks a lot, those pilots are called Slimline Extreme, just google it to find the page. I bought it at my LHS but online I'm sure it's available

  • Nice vid!

  • That is the meanest, coolest SE5 pilot one could ever wish to see! Linking the pilot to the rudder made it come alive. Excellent video.

  • @FlyingMerf thanks a lot, just reposted an old video with him doing one liners the whole time, very funny, video is on my channel, and called Blade 400 destroys itself and animated pilot in biplane remix. It's also in the sidebar under, more from WarderSeeker. Right underneath the Staggerwing Stryker Bi-Plane video, now that is hillarious

  • hey real nice flying there i would recomend a flycamone 2 then you could look in other directions

  • thanks, these are very light eDVR's less than an ounce, but for larger stuff I'm using a Hero CAm, and a Hero HD, best onboard cams around

  • i love the pilot in the biplane!!

  • thanks a lot, that worked really great. Will be doing more with my bigger bi-plane too I think

  • yeah the camera on the plane ,,,,

i like that idea of the camera on the plane but im afraid of interferience with the radio signal ...

  • This camera and lots of other, dont' use radio frequency or any downlink, they record onboard, with flash memory built in, or like the Hero a SD card that you remove and get your files from. Still pics from the Hero are 5megapixel, really great

  • what type of camera are you using?

    its crystal clear..nice dogfigths

  • HI, thanks a lot. Did you mean the camera from the ground or the onboard cam?

The one on the ground was a Canon mini DV, but I've since got an unreal HD Sony HDR-SR11. Check out some of the newest stuff, it's amazing clarity.

If you meant the onboard cam, it was a eDVR 5-in-1. I've also gotten a better one for those, called a GoProCamera Hero, video of that on my site too

  • this looks like such a fun pretty safe haha. Kinda looking for a new hobbie next to racing rockets around since i got a kid on the way, Id like to stay a little safe but i need something to fill some spare time with out my bike.....

  • huge adrenaline, different than riding, did that a few years myself, hogs not rockets, but now I fly a rc turbine jet at about 160mph, that almost goes straight up, unlimited. Watch some of my other vids, formation with these things is fun too

  • Love that pilot's face! He's such a badass! lol

  • Thanks a lot, he's cool. Looks like Belushi from 1941. I"ll do the same in some larger planes sometime too

  • wow, how do you make that head moves?

  • Thanks, check out the 3rd video response as well, a lot more of the pilots head moving around, and some one liners. I just mounted the head onto a servo, and linked the servo to the rudder

  • The Se5a is a great plane! There are so few videos of RC Se5a's on youtube lol. Loved the pilot too!

  • Thanks a lot, another video of that SE5A cockpit cam and pilot, I'll post it as a video response. Called Blade 400 tips and SE5A pilot I think

  • Why would an SE5 pilot have a cigar?

  • You have something about SE5 pilots with Cigars, did one scar you as a child? lol

I give up, why wouldn't he?

  • He looks more like an american than a brit

  • Just a pilot I had, lots of character for the close up. Not exactly going for the true scale pilot. lol

    Thanks for watching

  • Love the panning head!

I wish i had that triplane, it looks really good, not to support the germans though, booo!

  • ya, no need to mention the war lol

Thanks the head is hillarious, doing it with a larger Camel soon, (pilot has no cigar) The triplanes are really hard to fly, quite the handful, slow down very quick and have weird flight characteristics, but the SE5A and my 60 size camel fly great

  • My dad has a Flair Puppeteer which is ready and waiting to be maidened!

  • whats the song when the se5 and the fokker come out

  • Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Up around the bend

    Thanks for watching

  • get some airsoft guns on em

  • it's been done already, no point.. haha

We did launch rocket from a Flying Mustang on one of our most viewed vids

    Thanks for watching

  • pretty sweet were did you get the planes

  • These are E-flite P47 Thunderbolts, any internet store that sells E-flite, your local hobby shop that deals with RC planes, and probably ebay will have them. come with a slow motor but you add brushless and lipo and they work great. Also the bi-planes are Electrifly I think, again, local hobby shops, ebay etc. Thanks for watching

  • JUST TO FUNNY thats awsome rear view chase video would be sweet why not chop a tail off that would be so brutal thanks buddy from idaho......

  • we have a riot with those p47s, laughing the whole time, then you get the anal club members saying "Oh they're dangerous, did you see they're trying to hit each other.." LMAO Thanks for watching, more this summer I"m sure

  • Just spent the last 45 minutes watching nothing but your vids... Wow, doesn't begin to cover it! Great work bro!! You have some amazing footage in your collection and you put it together really well. 5 Starz again!

  • Thanks Dude. Been doin RC about 2 1/2 years, and when we're at any of our local fields, I take footage, and get people to film me. Tons of great guys bring out a lot of cool stuff too, that helps. This year will be even better, all HD, getting some larger stuff myself, and so are buddies. Also new channel just created for land based stuff, or water maybe too. RoninsRCRacing is the other channel. Going to a race tomorrow night, and have a few buds with some larger stuff of that too.

  • Doesn't the P47 have landing gear??

  • well the real one does, and these models we're flying have them as an option too, but the wheels are too small to take off on grass, and look much better in the air without them. Thanks for watching

  • Okay, I get it with the grass and all, thanks

  • yea thats the tuff one.... the songs

  • hey,, hello,, rcplanetim here

i was looking for you stryker vid but had no luck i cant believe you have 200 and something videos!! where do yoiu find the time.. seriously though nice flying.

if you would like .I have a couple of humble videos. if you would like to see just type rcplanetim in the searchbar

    good flying!! rcplanetim

  • Hey thanks for watching, which Stryker vid, anything in particular? I just seem to find lots of great stuff to film at the fields, but only takes an hour or two most times to edit and throw it up, more time sometimes to find the right songs lol. I'll take a look at your stuff too, thanks for watching!

  • That pilot is mad i love the cigar in his mouth and how he move his head lol,so did he come with the plane or did you add him?what can i say about the vido apart from brilliant again and 5* mate.

  • He's a pilot I bought and used in an old plane. I actually wanted to put a red led in the cigar, that would slowly light and go out, but too much trouble. A servo is installed in the cockpit, and the horn attached to the bottom of his body. Then just a Y harness off the rudder, going to put it on another channel so I have total control of him for the next one. Thanks man

  • Sorry guys for the poor ground vid. I tried to follow you both as best I could but the sun shining on the lcd got the better of me. Great flying though.

  • Yeah...come on Greg...you need to brush up on those camera skills! Just kidding...if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have any footage...thanks again...Norm. aka stormin69

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT WAS THE BEST VID YET, LOVED IT! Loved the pilot turning his head, you guys are the kings of RC. Is this fun or what? Now add some smoke! Love that smoke! Great flying guys. 5/5

  • Thanks man, yah the pilot is too fun, have to do more of that type of thing, and of course more dogfighting. We actually had the guys at this event starting to complain about how "dangerous" we fly LOL tards

  • Dang it i missed 2nd comment by about 30 minutes. Great vid I might get a Wireless camera to put on my planes.

  • Better off to get a flash type video camera, usually better picture and don't have to worry about the transmission being bad, unless you go nuts and buy the $500 setup or more. Just get an eDVR or flycamone2 eDVR is less than 100 bucks, and comes with onboard memory for over 5 minutes, flycamone2 needs another $40 SD card

  • It was great having the thunderbolts up again for a one year anniversary of the most viewed Ronin Pictures Production! Some good passes in the WWI dogfight too!

  • yet again great vid

  • Thanks alot, appreciate the comments!
