1. Lactobacillus does not need 80 degrees to ferment. 2. That's an awful lot of kefir you added. Kefir is not traditionally an ingredient in kimchi. 3. The fact that the stuff was cloudy and bubbling so hard...I dont know what to say about that. It looked poisonous. How did it smell?
I wanted to see you eat some, nonetheless. I suggest trying a traditional recipe then taste comparing it to yours.

You should not be calling what you made "kimchi".
Three things worry me about your concoction:

You will need to introduce some kefir to whey. You can buy kefir curds or whey online to get started with your live culture.
