  • appropriate song but ide put a strait 6 or v6 in the jeep i have a cj5 with a v6 buik motor

  • @pudgeya1 Not my jeep but i would have liked to put in a newer Inline 4 cyl. just for overhead valves, instead of the flat head.

  • @cobra9330 yeah i would proly keep the wsillys all original too i gues unless you were buildin it for a woods jeep

  • yo thats so bad ass

  • like it.

how much does the steering wheel turn from bump to bump?

  • krásné novuzrození willyse super

  • I dont like the War or the Military...But i love those Jeep!

  • Looks good! What did you do to the engine?

  • looking good, had my willys 24 years , still love it

  • I give it a 5 man thats sick

  • thats awsome do you restore alot of stuff like that ? Lol i wana restore a willys some time

  • Well... I noticed that the plates are in French at 1:21 ...

Is it a Hotchkiss M201 (Willys MB built under license in France) ? How did she come in the States ?

I'm very curious to know more about that...

Good luck anyway in your restoration.

  • It's not my jeep doing it over for a friend, and from what I was told it was given to the french Gov. by the US Gov. So that is all I can Tell you, and thanks

  • Well, it's quiet strange, because I've never heard about any translation in French of these plates, exept for the M201 model (then it's one big full-french plate). As the plates says "Ministére des Armées" (Army's Ministry), I guess there are post-war.

  • If you see "WOF" on any part, it means that it's a "Willys-Overland France" part : "made in france" (post-war).

It could help you to know that if you want to restore it as a full US parts Jeep.

But I think you should let every parts, french or american (after restoration), where they are. Because I can tell you this Jeep has something of special...

  • All the best for the restoration!!

  • nice work man

  • man , that is beautiful. i've always loved these jeeps.

whatever you do, do not sell it!

  • Great vid coulda chose diffrent music though

  • i probably woulda chose a military march but thats just me.

  • nice jeep
