that was very good, but here's another possible update: 1. ashley's not gonna be in HSM4 (she wants to be in more comedy romances and yes there will be a high school musical 4) and also, ali lohan will play a character similar to sharpay in hsm3.

The cast left yesterday to go to Utah to start HSM3 rehearsals. Have you guys seen 3 of the new cast members, who are supposedly going to carry on HSM after the third one?? One of them is from the US, one from the UK and one from Canada. Am I the only person who thinks its a bad idea carry on with a HSM4 with a completely different cast?? I think if they make a fourth it should be with the Zac, Ashley, Vanessa etc. It would ruin it if they had a new cast.

No not yet. At the moment they will probably still be recording the songs, I think they have about 5 days to do that, then they will be doing 2 weeks of dance rehearsals before they go to the school to start filming, they start filming around April 21.

Actually I got it wrong.

They recorded the songs a while ago, so they are rehearsing the dances now and will be for the next 3 weeks untill they beging shooting on April 21. They are expected to finish shooting June 13.
