Two suggestions:

The background is way too noisy and distracting. Something simpler, perhaps darker would suit it better.

- Try to get graphics that aren't from RPG Maker XP. They are just too generic!!!

I love me some tactic RPGs, and it looks like you have a solid code base. Work on your content and you are sure to have a good game!!

@Tralfamador5 I agree, the background is a placeholder though, I just wanted to try something different from a black screen. I want to try something darker and maybe blurred, like out of focus. The only thing from rmxp here is the tree, as I said in the description, and the final game will use only original graphics.

@CharlieFleed No dude the background should be lighter. Atmossphere makes everything further away lose it's color and lighter.

I'm admire the beauty and effort put into this game, gotta give it a try sometime.

@H3llkn0wz Partially. The characters are rips from Disgaea. The trees are from rpg maker. The window is original, done by a collaborator of mine. The rest of the tileset is by me.
