I wrote a cast about two years ago on this vid but I've decided to revise the list with some new choices and old choices. NOTE: To all commentors this is my list you're free to have your own opinion I won't judge your opinion.
I'd like to see the Taskmaster, like @superpookie said BETTY WHITE AS BLIND OWL FTW!
The love story is not that important, but it will need a hot babe that Wade is so, maybe, gonna score with, not an eight, seven would be enough. As for villain I'd say Barakpool... let Deadpool to have his revenge. Seriously, I don't know who should be villain.
not sure what the storyline is for deadpool but for any of you that has read deadpool:wade wilsons war may have noticed this near the end of the graphic novel there is a caption of deadpool holding the comic saying "THIS is how it happened! my man mikey bay's already snapped up the rights !" so if this is what the film would be about this novel your characters would be bullseye, silver sable and domino . but if its not deadpool pulp would be a cool movie to :)
I think that they should have characters like Bob, Weasel, Blind Al and Sandy in the movie! But I think that since its going to focus on DPs origin, it would be best if they made short appearances like Logan did in "X-men first class".

domino should be played by megan fox and i believe the bad guy should be.... ready for it drum roll please!!!!! omega red!!!! mainly because he himself was in the weapon x program also and sure they would have to create a new story line but with dead pool there are so many story lines why not make a new one and make omega red the bad guy and an equal opportunity for domino why not add lady deathstrike as well i think it would make for a damn good film!!!

i think they should do an animated series. but not on disney or nick or some crap like that no Adult Swim cause you cant censorize deadpool. that way you can fit alot of the origin in there, crap loads of characters, if there is someone with the perfect deadpool voice but does not fit how he looks being to buff or chubby it would not matter because u wont see em. it would be cheaper but could have a crap loads more action. perfuribly the aninmation would have to be anime style like the boondocks
imo i think chris evans would make an equally awesome deadpool (if u have ever seen the losers, you would know what i'm talking about) but he already has his fair share in comic book movies (fantastic 4)

A serious Deadpool film would with Ryan Reynolds would work (on the sarcasm side, he'd have to work to pull of psychopathic) as long as they stay true to the comic and ugly his ass up. If they were to get the original writer from the first half of the deadpool series (the circle chase etc) or mimc his style then it'd be decent, there was so much more depth back then. And bakkapool from Origins better not re appear, i hope hollywood gets blown the fuck up for creating that monstrosity xD
There was a leaked script several months back that I read and they are going to follow the weapon X/origin story line with Ajax, Kane and Slayback. Venesas the love interest. Weasal is in it along with the Hellhouse characters. Death is not in it. But Colosus is for some reason. Again this script was leaked, it was rated R, so not sure if fox is sticking with it. The script was awesome though! Deadpool fans would love it.
Im going to have to disagree with Statham as Cable, Im going to go about this as logical as i can. Jason Statham would be great as Task Master, 1# TM can copy any fighting Style, Jason is a well known martial artist, fits the bill in my opinion. 2# Cable is skilled in various hand to hand combat and is more militant, i think Stephen Lang would be a DEAD ON for Cable. He was the bad guy in the movie AVATAR, if not him then Michael Biehn, He was Kyle Reese in the the first Terminator. Thoughts?
Ryan Reynolds SHOULD NOT play deadpool. He was absolutely terrible in Xmen Origins. I hated it. I hated how Reynolds portrayed Wilson in the beginning of the film... that was an amateaur and shitty attempt at wade wilson. Bring in a GOOD actor
@MoeMoneyofYA no.... i would much rather prefer an actor who isn't really main stream or necessary a "Comedian" type actor. Yes, Deadpool is funny, but "comedian" actors can't play superheroes... Get somebody that can pull off being a badass and if they are a good enough actor they will be able to act out Deadpool's insane personality and it will be comical as well

Deadpool is a very hard character to put in film, mainly because he was created to exist in a Comic book world. Trying to fit in his insanity and all the funny shit is hard enough, let alone making him believable enough to be a bad ass character. I really think they should wait until more critically acclaimed writers pick up the script and make adjustments.

I've only read the Merc With a Mouth and Deadpool Corps comics, so admittedly i dont know anything about Deadpool's Ally and Rogue Gallery, but I am still psyched about a Deadpool movie

@chaster321 yeah, but it might cause problems/confusion for the general audience, seeing as he played wade wilson in X-men origins.(epic.fucking.fail.) I like both actors(dane cook's a comedian but i consider him both) but I can't see Dane portraying deadpool as well as Ryan due to him having a lot more acting experience...it also helps that he's a fan of the comics and wants to redeem Deadpool as a character and stick to the original as close as possible(thank god). so yeah, team Reynolds XD
I'm not a big comic book fan and so don't know the Deadpool history but didn't he get decapitated by Wolverine only ten minutes into his first fight. Is the new movie just going to forget that or is there something I'm missing.
@Spike34100 after the credits of x-men origins, there is a little scene where deadpool's arm climbs out of the rubble and finds his head, and his eyes open, so he is still alive.
@Drumatopia Yeah, but the Deadpool movie is going to ignore the Xmen Origins portrayal entirely. So that ending will be completely erased from film continutity.

Some other characters from the comic books you forgot to mention... His first employer from the pages of X-Force the crime lord of Eurpoe who turns out to be Cables son Mr. Tolaver (sp) and then we certianly can not forget Pool Boy Deadpools side kick and of course the Great Lakes Avengers if not for a camo (just because I want to see Big Birtha, Flat Man, Doorman, Mr Imortal and the rest of the crew in a movie... I think id be funny as hell even if its just a camo...)
As for Death she should be at the begining if Fox follows up with the end of Wolverine... he see's her in death but only briefly and then have him with this fixsation with her and dying so he gets to see her ever time in death. Seriusoly thou whats with guys in Marvel falling for Death? I so want to see Thanos vs Deadpool for Deaths hand in marrge! That would be pretty sweet!
Who should play Task Master... thats easy! Who plays the best characters behind the mask and does not speak or speaks very little... but none other then Darth Maul, Toad and Snake Eyes himself... Ray Park!! Yes I know he already played one Marvel villianToad but if we have the same actor playing The Human Touch AND Captian America then why not?!?!
Wow watching this has made me realize how little I know about deadpool... I feel ashamed, since he is my all time fav marvel character (2nd is punisher). Trying to fit in his insanity and all the funny shit is hard enough, let alone making him believable enough to be a bad ass character. I really think they should wait until more critically acclaimed writers pick up the script and make adjustments.

@chaster321 yeah, but it might cause problems/confusion for the general audience, seeing as he played wade wilson in X-men origins.(epic.fucking.fail.) I like both actors(dane cook's a comedian but i consider him both) but I can't see Dane portraying deadpool as well as Ryan due to him having a lot more acting experience...it also helps that he's a fan of the comics and wants to redeem Deadpool as a character and stick to the original as close as possible(thank god). so yeah, team Reynolds XD

His first employer from the pages of X-Force the crime lord of Eurpoe who turns out to be Cables son Mr. Tolaver (sp) and then we certianly can not forget Pool Boy Deadpools side kick and of course the Great Lakes Avengers if not for a camo (just because I want to see Big Birtha, Flat Man, Doorman, Mr Imortal and the rest of the crew in a movie... As for Death she should be at the begining if Fox follows up with the end of Wolverine... he see's her in death but only briefly and then have him with this fixsation with her and dying so he gets to see her ever time in death. Seriusoly thou whats with guys in Marvel falling for Death? I so want to see Thanos vs Deadpool for Deaths hand in marrge! That would be pretty sweet!

Wow watching this has made me realize how little I know about deadpool... I feel ashamed, since he is my all time fav marvel character (2nd is punisher). But I would say that the death thing would be interesting since no one has ever done anything like that before( to my knowledge), and I agree with this guys picks for the film they seem good.

1.I pray that they don't do the Deadpool Corps. WIth Lady DeadPool, Kidpool, and Dogpool
2.I'd like to see Deadpool Inc. with Sandi, and Weasel, with Taskmaster as the villain which would lead to him forming an alliance with Deadpool, and possibly a cameo of Moon Knight (though I don't know how that would work)
3.I'm also afraid they would start with Weapon X origins of Deadpool(continue on from Origins) which would star Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and of course Wolverine and Sabertooth
