  • Hello! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my BF got amazing 6 pack abs and lost lots of fat with it.

  • Hey um, in this video why do you say quadricep flexors, since they are extensors? Is it meant the rectus femoris which is a hip flexor? What about the psoas since it aids the abs in flexing the lower spine but also flexes at the hip joint?

  • @actualizeU i got a question regarding my body. even u can imagine me real quicklky, i know that weird. but im 5'11 , 6 ftishhh and i weigh in roughly at 185 to 190 ish. very qucikly i was born with extremely big and muscular legs, but my upper body came outr horribly bnad, lol. my arms dont match my legs cuz they're skinny.i weird weird pecs, they shake like a fat ladiess breast n my abs r bad. is their wanyway i can change tat, if so what can it possibly be???????

  • @TheIdontknowman Relaxed pecs do shake, just like relaxed biceps shake. If you dislike their size I guess try to train other areas to take attention away from it. If you retract your scapulae this will stretch your pecs and make them a big taught and less bunched up and wobbly, good posture.

    To change skinny arms, do arm exercises. Chinups can build your biceps, pushups can build the triceps. Since you seem to dislike pecs, try overhead pressing, skull crushers and kickbacks.

  • @teushu I've seen those deals, would have gotten it but had already bought the straps/wheel/perpush/perpull separately already. Might make a good gift for someone though.

  • hey do you know why your abs are uneven? like one side is a little higher then the other.. my abs are like this too but still waaaaay underdeveloped lol. it is a great exercise but i've been doing it pulling my knees to my chest... i'll try it like this.

  • afridi10, you can't burn 'belly' fat.

    You burn fat where the body likes to burn it.

    But this is for building up muscles, not for burning calories. Do some cardio if you think you are too fat. if you are fat noone will ever see your abs no matter how huge they are.

  • im 160 Pounds. 5.8.i do these excercise on my pull up bar. mostly 10x of 2 reps. and damn my arms and my hands kills me.. am i doing rong way or sumthin?and how many reps should i do and does this excercise burn ur belly fat???anyone plz..

  • Are you using the hanging straps? If you position them under the upper arm, like I have them in the video, the arms support your body weight, the hands shouldn't be doing much work.

  • @actualizeU im using the pull up bar and ohh jeez it kills me finger when im doing my 10 reps. on the 6th my arms shakes:S

  • but would that cause any adverse effects? i dont have any straps. i just do a pull up and hold it. and it looks like i follow the rest pretty well.

  • Hanging leg raises work my upper and lower abs intensely. Check out my abs, i never do sit ups or crunches. The 'iron gym' doorway bar with ab straps sold in many stores is a great buy and works in most doorways.

  • how many sets would recommend and what sort of rest period between each set?

  • You want the difficulty to be enough so that you hit the wall at 20-25 reps. I think form and how long you hold contractions is a major factor. Work at keeping good form and hitting the wall at 25 max.. then rest 1 min between sets.

  • Good. But you can do the same movement while raising your legs. Same movement + more load = better results.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yes, you are right you're lifting more wt, but you're also engaging the hip flexors and Rf of the quads, so also recruiting more muscles.. so I kinda think it's a wash. (but I do think straight leg lifts are good sometimes for another reason, that I don't want to get into) Another negative consideration, is that a straight leg lift puts more stress on the lower back, and is a problem for some folks. The right answer, as in most cases, depends on the individual. :)

  • I got them here in Richmond at Fitness Resource. I'm sure you can order them on line or get them at a local store that specializes in exercise equipment.
