Well, I do admit that I never was a big fan of Carth(Yes, I always liked Mission, and Zaalbar more.), Its not very likely that we'll see Carth, or ANY of KOTOR1, or 2's characters considering the next game is some stupid MMO ****. Ive played the beta of swtor and its true revan makes a apperance in the game but in a ghost form the reason why is because at the end of kotor revan chooses the lightside but goes to the emperor to kill him he succeds but at a cost he is a sith again,the sith council remains loyal to the old emperor(the one who turned malak and revan) and kill revan they patch it up saying he went to the unknown regions yeah kinda lame!
I initially played KotOR II before playing KotOR I. While playing KotOR II I had an extremely hard time trying to decipher all the hints to the past, and the ending threw me off especially. What Revan discovered was a vast Sith Empire preparing to attack the Republic, this happened when Revan and Malak traveled together beyond the Known Rim, they met the Sith Emperor Himself kept alive with Sith Magic. That's when the fall of Revan and Malak happened, this is what Revan remembered, this is where Revan travelled, to defeat. Sadly, i do not know what his fate is. Hope this helps somewhat :)
if they make a third game it should be the player being able to create TWO characters, one as revan and the other as the exile and they both go to fight the true sith in the unknown regions. thumbs up if you like this idea

Just play the Ass Effect series. There's a character who is voice acted by the same dude. I'd say the story and world of those games are just as good as KotOR as well.

The first time you talk with Atton he brings up Revan. If you said Revan was light sided, Carth will appear as the admiral. And if you said Revan was dark sided, it will be Admiral Cede (African American guy).
Playing Kotor 1 dark-sided will explain why Carth doesn't appear...
I never had carth in the scenes... in the holo vid at the beginninig its the balck jedi instead of carth and the was no scene between carth and Grenn, Carth and Mical. In fact ive never seen carth in my entire playthrough and im on the last battle between darth Traya...

Of course noone likes KOTOR 2 over the original, that's because the first (in all its unrivaled epic-ness) was developed by BioWare. KOTOR 2 was developed by another company called Obsidian. Well, KOTOR 3 is going to be developed once again by the original BioWare company. They're putting far more resources, time, effort, and money into making KOTOR 3 just as epic if not more so than the first KOTOR. I'm pulling my hair out waiting for it.

Revan was a MAN...just fyi lol. To keep the story canon (based on the lore) the Exile is female while Revan is male.

Kotor 3 has been cancelled :(
THey're now making TOR (The Old Republic). It's about how Revan left to fight the Sith Empire. They return and there's a massive war :)

Just play the Ass Effect series. There's a character who is voice acted by the same dude. I'd say the story and world of those games are just as good as KotOR as well.

LOL somehow didn't make the connection this time. Although now I do remember noticing it first time I played mass effect, my kaiden died though. :d
Many other voices are also quite similiar, like the voice from Mass Effect codex files, I will always remember him from SW Rogue Squadron as the dude who talks about the mission in the mission select screen :D
I've noticed him in few roles in kotor now also, minor but still great voice work. Kotor 3 or al least a (gritty) movie pls!

in that last scene carth spoke of revan as a guy and he said that to tell him he was following orders instead..and then after i left bastila came out and asked carth if i knew where he was...y wasnt that in this version of the scene?

The first time you talk with Atton he brings up Revan. If you said Revan was light sided, Carth will appear as the admiral. And if you said Revan was dark sided, it will be Admiral Cede (African American guy).
Playing Kotor 1 dark-sided will explain why Carth doesn't appear...

I never had carth in the scenes... in the holo vid at the beginninig its the balck jedi instead of carth and the was no scene between carth and Grenn, Carth and Mical. In fact ive never seen carth in my entire playthrough and im on the last battle between darth Traya...

Of course noone likes KOTOR 2 over the original, that's because the first (in all its unrivaled epic-ness) was developed by BioWare. KOTOR 2 was developed by another company called Obsidian. Well, KOTOR 3 is going to be developed once again by the original BioWare company. They're putting far more resources, time, effort, and money into making KOTOR 3 just as epic if not more so than the first KOTOR. I'm pulling my hair out waiting for it.
Basically KOTOR 2 is the odd-child that noone likes
