I think it's incredibly brave of you to talk about rape. My friend was molested and she's struggled with anorexia. A lot of sexually abused children end up with eating disorders. They subconsciously believe that being "fat and ugly" will keep them safe from sexual predators.

Overcoming an eating disorder, regardless of how you do it, is an incredible act of strength.

I eat too much. I would still be obese except I healed my back problems, allergies and itchy rash that was preventing me from working out. I didn't have to change my diet, just started eating more than one meal a day. Turns out my type of body can't repair itself with just one meal. Go figure. Surgery would scare me. I would try to avoid it, if possible.

Just talked about it in a video recently, The whole issue bubbled up 3 weeks post-op because I was no longer able to eat my feelings. I think it is important for people to know that emtotions and pain can surface and you will need to address them rather than allow them to cause you to use other methods i.e. drinking, smoking, pills etc. I cjose to face my pain directly and it helped me. i was able to finally have a conversation with jason and get an apology. I have nothing to be embarassed about
