Not really. Jane Eyre never came back incognito after 10 yrs to take care of her OWN BIOLOGICAL daughter. Yes, there are a few similarites but they're not quite exactly parallel. You're comparing oranges & apples. Yes, both are fruit but they are not exactly the same thing. Great observation, Watson. Keep up the work!

Wow. I remember watching this as a little girl with my grandmother. I think I must've loved it so much that they taped it for me one time. Unfortunately, I unknowingly taped over it years later, and there's only a few seconds. Anyone know where I can watch this on Youtube or online? Preferably with English subs.

please tell me if your video is an old version VCD or DVD. I ordered this movie which did not come with this opening theme song. Instead it has a new theme song sang by Vanesa Ali Mimi which i was very disappointed. It ruins the feeling for the movie. By the way do you know how old is CHin Han now? My counsin told me that he is 71 year old in 2008. Is it true?

Thanks for uploading this video. I agree with Macy as I also has very deep impression of this drama. I was very touched by their deep love. I felt that the true love are very mere exist in nowadays time as people are getting more materialistic.

There is a classic line in this night time soap: 劉雪華's fiance in the US, played by a very green 徐乃麟, chased her all the way back to Taiwan. After learning she had been back with her old love, 秦漢, he cursed, and said "他媽的". And the character played by 林在培 said to him, surprisingly: "Wow! All these years in the US, you can still swear in Chinese?"

When me and my Chinese friends saw this clip for the first time in the US, we just all fell off the chairs.
