this armour and weapon i believe is based on a weapon and armour in one of the Neil Asher books. The message you get from the Illusive man says that the armour is banned in alliance space and in the N.A book the weapon and armour were banned because of what it could do....bit of knowledge for you there :)

The weapon is pretty cool. Not very useful, since most heavy weapons we keep for big enemies... this is organic only... but damn... I keep it, just cause it is so much fun to see enemies being sucked in and charbroiled XD It's like a really bad ass Singularity for the Adept.

Armor is nice, can't remove helm :P

All in all it's fun stuff to have, but nothing that will give you an edge at all... Not like the Collector armor and assault rifles... wish I had taken collector edition now :P

it's based on a charge, it has a 43% charge, it needs to be at least 100% to shoot, but damn is it worth it, you can take out anything with 1 shot, I save it for merc dropships

that's what it's supposed to do.

see the sign next to the ammo count? it's a %. if you didn't know, %'s are always out of 100. so you can only shoot the nuke gun once every time it's at 100%. make sense?

It was totally worth it to reserve at Gamestop. The armor is great looking (although I don't like that you can't remove the helmet), and in my opinion looks better than the default N7 armor even with customizations. The weapon you get really shines against humanoid enemies, but don't waist your ammo on heavy enemies; a lot of the other weapons you gain throughout the game are much better against heavy targets.

All of the classes can wear all of the armour types. I'm uncertain about the heavy weapons.

on the contrary, all classes other than Soldier cannot use Assault Rifle. Soldier class cannot use SMGs.

I believe other than Engineer and Soldier, no other class can use Heavy Weapons.

Only Soldier class will have access to all ammunition types.

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition today at Gstop and so i get the Terminus Armor, M490 Blackstorm, Collector's Armor & Rifle. Really there isn't much more to add... Since the Collector's price is about the same as the Regular Ed, i suggest anyone to buy it, you get more bonus content. Plus the DLCs that Bioware promise to release, and let's hope they'll not be like Pinnacle Station

well its not really a huge thing as its not a multiplayer game and you got no 360 to play it on , i'd suggest if you have atleast £200 [ $400 incase your american ] you cant get both in order 360 then me 2 , also about armors , im gonna get the Inferno armor code [ pre order from amazon ] but aint got it yet so im yet to know but hey look on the bright side , theres not much probability the 360 will break while playing ME2

limitation to the blackstorm weapon is probably slow cooldown time.

the terminus armor will probably be available later on in the game where a merchant goes "my god commander! i thought you'd never come back for this item!" sort of scenario.

Well, if worst comes to worst I don't think I'll be wearing the Terminus that much anyway...it doesn't feel like it goes with the rest of the settings and the game itself. As far as the blackstorm goes, I'll use it every once in a while against bosses and such. Either way, I can't wait for this game to be released.

you actually get some neat benefits when wearing different armors. The Collector's Edition includes the Collector Armor and Collector Rifle, both of course have their advantages. Eventually what will happen is that people will start releasing stuff on the internet so that you can have all four armors.

But I preordered the CE because it comes with the metallic case, which is awesome.

None. The Collector's edition comes with a set of Armor and weapon. But this Terminus set is only available at Gamestop. Some online retailers (amazon) give you access to Inferno armor, which looks like Iron Man armor.

I'd say cancel your pre order and get one that actually gives you something in return.
