Great idea, short speeches from all six together. Impressive display from all candidates. Anyone apart from Jon Cruddas (a political dinosaur) would make a great contribution. All are a credit to the Labour Party.

Im voting for Jon because he is the only one who I believe who he will get out and support the grassroots in our battle to defeat the SNP and the Tories! And I think he can reinvigorate the party and its fall away members to come back!

Ill be voting for Peter Hain. I met Hazel on Saturday also and thought she was also a good candidate. Johnson would be my last choice.

I voted lib dem last election in protest to the war. To vote Labour again I need to see less privatisation in the NHS, massive improvement in NHS dentist availability and fast action now to fix the situation with junior doctors

Hilary: miss world speech (6th)

Alan: politically on the ball, sharp and concise (1st)

Hazel: good, but emotionally based logic (3rd)

John: good ideas, social focus too narrow, a bit quiet (4th)

Peter: very good speech but too many political catch phrases (5th)

Harriet: very good, this speech demonstrates she can connect with people (2nd)
