still unbelievable what happened that day, saw the footage over and over again, this whole week again on National Geographic's 9/11 week. I was on vacation Corfu and had to fly home in the evening, no tv, no informations. When I came home tower 1 and 2 were gone, pentagon and flight 93. Just sat the whole night watching tv, not understanding what the hell happened. Tomorrow I will place this video on my facebook. In november I'll visit New York for the first time in my life.

This year I visited New York and the city is so beautiful, and the new WTC is like halfway already! Hope to visit it in the future after it's ready. And to watch from the topfloor, so I know what view those people had who jumped out.. just horrible I guess..

Everytime I see these videos I cant help but feel completely depressed over the loss that dreadful day. At least all those lost lives were avanged eleven years later. God bless the people who lost love ones, NYPD and FDNY as well as our troops who are fighting against those responsible.
my dad is a fireman and he knew a lot of the people that were fireman friends of his. On 9-11 every year he is always sad because he is trying to remember his friends. i am eleven now and my brother is 17 and going to the navy after highschool. he has talked me into letting him go be cause i dont want him to get hurt or anything. try to keep the comments posative. the people reading these dont always think that their loved ones that died would say that even if they were to come back. god bless!
I, myself, am not american. I remember the day this happened. I was about six years old, too. When I went downstairs I saw my mom crying. I hadnt realized what happened. Now years later, seeing this video and thinking of all the families that have been torn apart, all the pain that people have suffered from, I get teary eyes myself. Rest in peace. this is my story: I was 7 when this happened my dad was in America for his work, and he was visiting the WTC-towers. His boss called my mother, my father died that day. Everyday I'm talking to him, so I wont forget him. He was the best I ever had :(

Weird isn't it? How such an event could change all the World. People perceive things so differently, people live so differently and people think so differently.
From a historical perspective it makes me think of other, even greater, events that had a global effect. For ex: I wonder what it felt like to be in the Roman Empire when Rome was sacked. Or when Constantinople fell. Obviously the event of 911 is smaller but the effects were and are tremendous nonetheless.
If its so easy to bring 3 steel framed buildings crashing to the ground at free fall speed. Why do we have demolition businesses, why don't they just weaken a few floors and set the building on fire. Think of the money they could save on all those explosive charges. We are told it was a structural collapse where the floor trusses were weakened by the fire, but that does not explain whey the center columns were sliced off in to 30 ft sections. 9/11 was an inside job "WAKE UP"

this is my story: I was 7 when this happened my dad was in America for his work, and he was visiting the WTC-towers. His boss called my mother, my father died that day. Everyday I'm talking to him, so I wont forget him. He was the best I ever had :(

I agree with farprata. Its all about money, power, and, oil. Every part of the city where I live at, they take over all of the gas stations and cigarette store. if anything it is US that are the terrorists, saddam could have been eliminated without destroying their lives and the same with the afghani's. regime's have been toppled before by the USA and Britain without the need to invade, but this comes from 3 things: 1 Oil and 2: Heroin (afghanistans poppy fields). 3 strategic bases. there are 14 or so permenant bases built and manned in Iraq now and those will be the springboard for the next invasion Iran.

@wvb56 I agree. i dont condone the way they treat their women either but we cant just go into a country and "civilize" it by turning it into rubble either. and the Iraqi's and afghan's had nothing to do with 911 anyway. the sheer amount of things that were hushed up, evidence destroyed ect throws doubt on anything our goverments tell us. a lot of people scream "conspiracy theorists" but i think they may have a damn good point, sure there are a few wild ideas but many are solid.

Weird isn't it? How such an event could change all the World. People perceive things so differently, people live so differently and people think so differently.
From a historical perspective it makes me think of other, even greater, events that had a global effect. For ex: I wonder what it felt like to be in the Roman Empire when Rome was sacked. Or when Constantinople fell. Obviously the event of 911 is smaller but the effects were and are tremendous nonetheless.

If its so easy to bring 3 steel framed buildings crashing to the ground at free fall speed. Why do we have demolition businesses, why don't they just weaken a few floors and set the building on fire. Think of the money they could save on all those explosive charges. We are told it was a structural collapse where the floor trusses were weakened by the fire, but that does not explain whey the center columns were sliced off in to 30 ft sections. 9/11 was an inside job "WAKE UP"

In 2001 I was about 8 years old. I saw it happening on TV. When I saw the people jumping out of the building it almost looked like a movie or something. It was so unreal I still can't believe it happened. Very sad!

This is something that is one of those "do you remember where you were when" moments and I remember being in school, the lesson stopped and we all watched the television, even as a Brit there is no words to describe the pain of such a tragedy and I still remember the images like it was yesterday, thoughts and prayers still go out too al the families that lost loved ones.
