This is beautiful. Thank You everyone. I picked up a copy of the DVD a year or so ago thinking my independent media/arts org might like to present it, but only got around to actually watching it and listening to the CD the other day. We focus a little bit on other things that are happening in Congo right now (e.g. Conflict Minerals) and I think more people need to know about what's going on there in general (current conflicts *and* great music!)
Juniper songs are inspiring, full of love and humanity. Africa is long away to go, she is still enchained to IMF and World Bank and western corporations making a killing of money by looting Coltan, Gold, Diamonds to say the least, while the children of Africa are suffering from hunger and poverty.
Jupiter, c'est splendide ce qu'il fait avec son groupe, j'espère qu'on pourra les entendre en France un jour. Merci également aux 2 accolites réalisateurs de "Jupiter's dance" de nous a&voir fait voyager et découvrir toutes ces pépites. Si des gens ont des infos sur un nouvel album, concert, autre... je serai très heureux que vous les partagiez avec moi.. au plaisir et vive eux
Quand il dit que ce pays (ou même ce continent) a une richesse culturelle inexploitée c'est tout à fait vrai dans le doc il dit aussi que trop souvent on oubli notre culture pour embrasser le model européen ...c'est dit si simplement et en effet la véritable richesse se trouve là bas ...Il me tarde de découvrir mon second pays d'origine le congo ....
