It is rare to "get your money back" on a restoration. Think of all the parts + labor that go into a restoration.........These muscle cars are restored out of passion/love for the cars not to turn/churn some profit. Ask any restorer --are you making tons of money ??? Unless you're preparing for Pebble Beach Concour ---the average Joe restorer isn't making a lot of profit here....
@theresarowell The only cars you would get your money back on are the Mopar cars, Charger/Roadrunner/ Superbird/Cuda/Challengers and a few other of there rare ones.
question for anyone.....Can someone tell me why I would send my '73 #s matching 340 Cuda to Muscle Car Restorations in Wisconsin, spend $80,000-$87,000 to restore it when I would only get near $60,000 as this one did? Just asking.
dude, im spending 150,000.00 to do an original 1971 cuda convertible resto,..im gunna sell it in 30 years, im 40 now, hopefully by then the market will be up,. or there will still be really rich people left,..its an original 383,and automatic,..special ordered pre ordered pre paid, built 12/1970 !! good luck with you car,..ITS WORTH IT,..just ENJOY IT ,..while u have it
well i suppose if you keep it until your 70 it would be a good investment. i'm looking for quick turnaround. besides, i don't want a car i can eat off the floor pans because its so clean and perfect. i want to drive it everyday as they were meant to be. i will certainly enjoy it when i'm finished! lol...you can bet on that...
