It seems as though quite a few liked this scene but I think this and many others just diluted the main idea behind the series. As for the 2nd season, that seemed to go off at a tangent and really lose the plot. I mean, who cared about James fleeing off with an older woman? The series was IMO meant to be about Laura's killer and the unravelling of the seedy lives of everyone in Twin Peaks. Oh, and Maedchen Amick :-)

Watching Twin Peaks for the first time and had to hunt this scene down to share with a friend, just to demonstrate for him the awesomeness of the Horne brothers. Scenes like this are why I've come to adore them as much as Cooper. Can't think of too many other corrupt business men who, confronted with someone barging into their office singing, respond by breaking into dance.

The murder was solved halfway through the second season when actually Lynch intended that story to go on to the end of season 2 and some of 3 but ABC forced him to change that. Then they made him condense the W Earle story which would have been longer starting s3 into only a half with promise of renewal then fucked him over. So next time get your facts straight before making stupid fucking wrong comments!

For one thing they were constantly making fun of soap operas with the deliberate over acting and the music, plus the soap opera that was in the show that people sometimes watched was the ultimate satire.
