this was Wet Willie's last official gig and song, before they split up for 10 years. the disco age put em down... like so many others in the late 70's...

Fortunately they have gotten "the band back together" in the late '80's and continue to rock, just as intense, as the old days. LOTS of good footage on youtube.. also, search Jimmy Hall, he has several bands and can hang with the best of them...

Love to see this 'rare as rocking horse doo-doo' piece as GQ footage in full. Only lucky enough to hear two of those Volunteer Jam albums and nobody in the UK was smart enough to consider broadcasting that stuff over here, certainly not back then. Thanks for sharing. B-)

Anyone remember which live album contained the song 'Texas Blues'? Believe it was one of these Daniel's Jam albums . . . . The song contained the lines "Baby, if you put your brain on the edge of a razor blade it'd look like a BB rolling down a four-lane highway . . . . not too sharp." Stuck in my head for 30 odd years now.

@Terra148 i have the album , will have to find it for you, cant remember the band but it had a lot of artist on that record. Its was called Marsol or something like that
