hmmm, what a comments. germ cars are germ cars. I was driving bmw 320d 2008 with 177hp, and at 200km/h this car cannot compare to 1993 subaru legacy 1.8 4x4. in subaru you feel like you are on train tracks, while bmw always delays for few miliseconds when you turn wheel. It's not about where the car was made, but how it was made. I still keep my old subaru for winters. And to be honest feel like biggest idiot that i bought that bmw. No doubts. BMW is nicer to parking in front of club.that's all.

Jap cars are better than German ones dude. For a start look at european reliabilty surveys, merc and bmw are well down, all the top spots are jap. The germans first tried to get the rotary to work in a car but couldn't so the japs did, they make better 4x4 systems, more bhp per litre and more reliable electronics. German cars were good but not so much now.

The spec-b does not have the STi drive train. It is a 2.5 turbo w/ 6 spd man., but they are all different parts. Engine, tranny, center dif. f/r/dif....

The ZR1 is the best all around Amercica ncar ever made. But it has 600hp Supercharged its basically a tuned z06 taking on a 480hp GTR. put that ZR1 against the 615 or the 510 hp tuned GTR i think it's the aspect and the spoon or Hennesy or Spoon tuned GTR and the Zr1 would be getting spanked just like the Z06 but even in strait lines alot worse. Type it in here and you'll see they just changed the exhaust andboosted the turbo and got 600hp out of the GTR no 20k upgrade like the Vette!!

Actually all motor is boring. Superchargers and Turbos give you a kick out of this world. And they give you a better shot at higher hp than just plain all motor. v8s are fun if they can stay strait but all motor you gottta go 10 and up. But Then you have turbo v 12 's in Mercedes So ohh well.

I drove the M3 sedan with 6 speed and fully loaded (V8 420 HP). It was a screaming, high-revving monster. Completely insane. I loved it especially with 4 people comfortably seated in the car.

I will trade in my 330 CI for the M3 sedan this year.

I agree with dragonupper1, while the Subota (or whatever it's going to be called) will be interesting, they should try to make a lightweight impreza to compete harder with other light cars. The current 08-09 design is too heavy. The wagon/hatch is actually more aerodynamic and has a good weight distribution, but overall it is still too heavy. I've gotten over the looks of the new design, but Subaru needs to put more function back into the Impreza.
