The much lauded McGuire fanfic, however steeped in current pop culture, is not canon. I would suggest you read the real books before you discuss OZ.

game is fun though, but i keep freezing at the battle with the 2 bats and ghost gummy. after i defeat those 3 my game freezes...

Game freezes are usually caused by piracy, so you're probably playing the game on a flashcard. Can't help you there, and don't expect any most places. I've had none of those problems. If you bought the game, return it.

Graphics are beautiful and stuff. But I also look for gameplay as well. How's the battle mechanics in this? Does this game have good gameplay for an RPG?

Because I don't want it to be too simplistic like Dragon Quest series.
