Ah, Madeline. Your footage of Tony and Renee always brings me to tears. I just adore Philece's portrayal of Renee, and during this time, Renee was so naive and endearing. I will never forgive the hack writer Maggie DePriest for turning Renee dark and then killing her off.

Philece was cast because she resembled Brenda and when I saw Lee enter Renee's BR - I had to look twice, as it looked like Renee, but with shorter hair. Great casting back then! :)

Ok...so...I'm not that savvy on 1982 DOOL so forgive me if I don't know something that might be obvious---is Lee Renee's mother? I know Stefano turns out to be Renee's father. And Stefano turns out--eventually---not to really be related to Tony by blood, right?

@bradyclanfan Yes, Lee is her mother but Renee wasn't aware of that at this point (or anyone else)

Lee and Julie had a lot of bad history, great to see them together.
When Lee went into the closet, there was a black dress - it looks like the one Renee wore the night of her murder.

oh, I just want to weep every time I see more of Brenda Benet. She was exquisite and what an amazing actress. Thanks Surfer!! you're the best :) and I'm going to watch this several more times before bed tonight lol
