I might be being a dimwit here but has there been two different versions of this play because I have seen one and the ending is a different staging to this?

@MissRnR Yes, this play has been staged twice, and some actors (an even characters) changed in the second play. However, the story remains the same :)

I've 'just' finished watching this play, and I loved every moment of it (though I'm not exactly fluent in Japanese...)

The end totally killed me; I'm still speechless (and crying) over it...

This stage play has to be one of my favorites. My friend burned it because Aiba was in it. I watched it because Nagayan is in it. She'll never watch it again but i loved it. This is a very tense play and this is my favorite song. I also liked MITSU's performance of it and Kami Hikouki too.

the video is from Switch wo osutoki DVD (the first one, though) the song is from the OST of the second Switch wo osutoki (it was last year, I think)

I just chose some Minami scenes and got them with the song ^^

yup, and I do think the actor resembles a bit to nagayan. Those eyes.... and some faces... and the voice sometimes too... it's creepy... maybe it's just my imagination? cause I have not watched the whole films yet xDD

well, I lkike all of Nagayan's songs, really. He has a couple of albums ^_~ This song was not written by hime, But he writes his own songs, which I find pretty amazing too

OK, in the play, japanese scientists have been doing a research about suicide. There are many schools with kids, who are given a white switch with a number on it and a red button. If you press your switch, you die, as simple as that. Many kids died during the first night (la curiosidad mató al gato, we say in spanish), and many more during the following years, because, well, it's so easy...

The "school" in which the story takes place has only 5 kids left (well, now they are not kids any more), and the "headmaster" is always pushing them to their limits, trying to make them commit suicide (because, hey, he can't leave work till they do and it's been a while). A while after the play has started, a new "teacher" arrives... Minami-san, played by Nagayama Takashi And, do you want me to tell you what his role is about? that's spoiler spoiler!
