  • Cool video. So going from Melbourne to Bourke, does the weather change rapidly just a few miles inland? It does that up here going from San Franciso to Walnut Creek which is just 20 miles inland. Avg max in July (meaning avg daytime high): 65 for Sam Francisco and 85 for Walnut Creek. Go 15 miles further inland (Antioch) and it's 95. So is Bourke the place where the "outback" begins?
