  • that sucks... if only they smoked weed instead of opium, then they would enjoy their world more (since thats what most people are saying thats the reason for) and with out being addicted or in the long run dead

  • @CabooseDaMan

yes weed is better or hashish rather.

but its a missconception that opium kills, it doesnt, its illegality that kills-high price, low purity harm.

when pure its non toxic, in fact opium users often have lower blood pressure and stronger hearts and live longer and work harder; when u have no money for food or medicine u get ill, a consequence of illegality; opium makes it a joy to work, even shoveling shit, its gods tonic for a harsh life- its easiest plant to grow even.

  • @tpvalley How does opium NOT kill? Where are you getting these "facts" from because im pretty sure people OD on opium. Not to mention its extremely addictive. Yes it does make working better, because your high. Its much better to just smoke weed so your not addicted and it makes everything better but without all the bad side effects.

  • @CabooseDaMan

u can die from hashish if u drop a ton on someone. An opium user would have to try very hard to OD, they fall asleep first, opium as I said is non toxic.

they only knew william burrows was dead (9x years) as he didnt collect his prescription.

yes it makes u high, nothing immoral about that, it stops pain and the high is connected not detached skitzoid intoxication like booze. u can function even mentaly unlike ganja.

if u live where opium grows u shouldnt have a problem with it

  • @tpvalley What was the point of that first sentence...A ton of anything would kill you, that fact that its hash makes no difference and doesnt count as a death by marijuana or hash, just a death by being crushed or suffocated. And you can easily function on marijuana as long as you dont get too stoned, just smoke a bowl and get a little faded you dont have to be completely baked.

  • @CabooseDaMan Opium is hard to OD on...most opium users smoke it, so it's not like a random shot of heroin that can have an infinite amount in it...You have to keep smoking and smoking and smoking to OD of opium, and eventually they would just pass out and fall asleep. I agree opium kills in that it leads to shooting heroin, but opium itself in the purest form is non-toxic.

  • @CabooseDaMan they smoke weed too...actually hash...the elderly and the working like to smoke opium because it relieves pain and allows them to work longer, the ANA and ANP like hashish better because they are young and like to get high....

  • @KATOMATE01 opium is great for pain sure but so is weed. Not as good but I just wouldent think its worth it to use opium

  • this is so sad

  • this so sad

  • OH!!! NO!!!!

America is there to bring freedom for Afghanistan!!!!

You wait and see, the freedom of Iraq, and Libya, and the rest of the Middle East.

  • @Greyg2000 freedom from whom?

    by placing a proxy government?

u dont think the $3 trillion worth of lithium, copper and uranium have anything to do with it?

or the fact that taliban opposed rothschild/shell pipeline from caspien basin to avoid iran?

billions invested in it by american shareholders/ politicions; also a coincidence that rothschild are related to sasoons-opium barons under queen victorias licence-taliban destroyed most opium fields; we even invaded in planting season!

  • once asgain the wall street jewish banjkers oil profiteers are going to use usa into another loosing war they cant win so their companies can indulge and suck the earth killç the ppl, in the end the ppl of the usa will çay this in high taxes dead soldiers and people without lega arms etc... americans cant get his... 9 11 was inside job, usa is being used like before in vietnam etc oil and army are biggest industries 1.weapons 2.oil 3. drugs, biggest profits on planet

  • No one please judge! In the U.S we use prescription drugs to keep kids quite here too. Ritalin, zoloft, focus pills, what is the difference? The Taliban sell this shit to these people to keep them down and the sell it in the U.S too to make money!

  • the filmers probly payed the addicts 2 film em

  • shittiest country on planet earth

  • no shit opium is the only commodity that people will pay ridiculously high prices for because they 'need it.' no other substance in the world has the power that opium has.. after all we all have opiate receptors and NO one and i mean NO one can escape the power of addiction when it comes to opioids...

  • @JahRed24x

To say that no one has the will power to use opiates responsibly is a stereotype and just incorrect.

Ive been smoking opium once a week for years now, but Ive never gained a physical addiction and never had it impact my life in a negative way.

I get as much as I want basically for free, and its not a important factor in my life because I have so many other forms of recreation and pleasure.

  • @DrPsilocybin Your ignorant to the story of the Opium Poppy and all thats come from it (i.e. Heroin, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Morphine, ect).. addiction will sneak up on you bro is all im saying, be careful with opiates...

  • @JahRed24x

Well thanks for the concern, but I don't like the assumption that I don't know about the history of opium and what opiates have been used for throughout history.

I know the damage it does to my body, and Im happy to enjoy a pleasure like that even if it means I might have health complications in my late 80's, Its a situation where the reward greatly outweighs the risks. (in my case)

Its been 8 years and Ive never had a physical addiction, when does it "sneak up" on me?

  • @DrPsilocybin i thort i wouldn't get hooked on smack after doing it a few times, but all of a sudden I found my trying to score in the middle of the night. I am now clean but have only been for about a week but found it very easy this time due to getting 1 tablet of subutex and wacking quarters of it, now i just blaze.

  • @JahRed24x

Once a week, Ive never strayed into doing it more often then that, so please tell me what horrible health effects Ill receive, I doubt Ill get any.

Similar to alcohol, if you drink every day for decades expect to die from liver problems and have the coating of your esophagus stripped off, but if you drink alcohol in moderation like most people you'll never see anything like that.

Same concept for opiates only they have a addiction that is worse, and its harder to use responsibly.

  • @JahRed24x

I love flying planes, sex, other recreational drugs, video games, cooking, snowboarding, cultivation of many things (not just drugs), traveling to different countries, shooting and collecting guns, and ive been playing guitar and skating since I was a kid.

Bottom line, if you said I had to stop smoking opium, it wouldnt be a problem, because I many other forms of pleasure and fun and it doesnt matter if you take away a small part of my life like opium.

    Stop exaggerating.

  • opium from a tit. Thats one happy fucking kid.

  • bloody adverts spoiling youtube.

  • put a nuclear bomb there

  • watch?v=Hc5QNE_kDyQ

  • interestingly, George Bush's Skull and Bones society was built on the opium trade... as was the British Empire.

Maybe thats why Afghan opium production has risen 2000% since we arrived.

  • dam right jsut like vietnam.

usa stopped uk from working with iran to stop the trade, thats why now they r constantly looking for an excuse to invade iran because they r fighting the drug flow.

  • @jondavidgriffin -i hate the EVIl and carnage of the drug trade and all the women and children dusted off because of the sin and evil works of man and his gloriuous self righteous doing upon the earth...sickining video and i realize the taliban dont care because they follow allah the moon demon and would rather follow the darkness than the light..god will re-pay and he sees all the works and deeds of men...

  • @jondavidgriffin 2000% SOURCES PLEASE...

  • @ontariobuds globalsecurity (dot) org or global research (dot) ca both quote a 20-fold increase by weight between 2000-2003, doubling again by 2008, estimated now to be worth around $120 billion annually, tax free lol

  • @jondavidgriffin your wrong...yes opium production rose 2000% after our occupation, but was it because we were trading in it? NO....it was because under that Taliban opium production was not only illegal, but ungodly, so they were very strict about punishing people who grew them. However, the Taliban also relied on opium money to fund their organization, so they would tolerate it at some times. Growing opium is more profitable, so no more Taliban = everyone starting to grow it for more money.

  • Shit Man that is really disgusting, these idiots would do better by their poor Children if they had put them up for Adoption.Better that than robbing them of their "entire" Childhood.I think these bastards are beyond Contempt, fair enough their lives are shit. However that is no reason to do this dirty despicable trick to these poor innocent Kids.I hope they Burn in Hell for their Sins.Once somebody has been adicted to Heroin they are never ever the same. They become sullen and quiet.

  • not everyone has the same opportunities others do....i wouldnt judge...

  • now thats fucked up

  • wow, we have ourselves a retard here. You stated "legalize drugs and all the problems will be gone". That is idiotic beyond belief. But hey, if you can't handle life without being stoned out of your mind, thats fine with me, so spare me the nerd rage. I for one think drugs should be made legal and plentiful, because then 1.) many of you fuckheads will OD and rid us of yourselves, and b.) the drugs will be taxed so high by the government that maybe my taxes will lowered (fat chance).

  • Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the LAW

  • funny

  • Drugs is forbidden in the religion of Islam. Smoking is also forbidden if you are a moslem. The desire for drugs, power, accumulation of wealth is also considered a sin. Many moslems are no longer following the teaching of Islam. Christians are also no longer following the teaching of Jesus. I guess Islam and Christianity is a dying religion. The new religion is power, drugs, money, and sex.

  • and Rock'N'Roll !

  • Is every one a druggie?. Drug addicts everywhere?.

    Fuck drug addicts

  • This is just another american propaganda against drugs.

Many americans already believe this is just propaganda. American already begining to learn about media propaganda.

  • propoganda?

do u not believe in the drug problem?

or the FACT that a 500% increase in production has been noted since invasion?

    just like vietnam.

  • I just see in this video clip people smoking opium to relieve themself of suffering due to poverty. Here in The USA, people use drugs to escape the world and they also turned addicted. Drug dealers use it to make a living. They want to live the lifestyle like the rich they see on television.

  • even in afganistan u get dealers making money just the same.

u r right about the influence of tv and the desire to be rich.

  • its not propaganda, theres people in the british army that fight along side the afgan national army and they all say the same thing, as soon as the ANA they r fighting alongside get a 5 minute smoke break they all start smoking opium, they r fucking mad for it over there

  • the usa and uk have been taken over by the jesuits (of rome) who control the cia and mi5,mi6, the governments are flooding their own countries with heroin from afghanistan and coke from s.america

  • exactly, they wish to destroy society and keep them to weak to vote against them and notice their evil deeds, to busy surviving.

  • fuck that shit they need weed ^_^

  • Poor child, they didn't choose to be addict. What kind of parents is that! When you in need of the drug it is so painfull poor children,...

  • she was probably like 13 when she became a mother... she just didn't knwo what to do

  • to scrubbycritter-i agree with you---doesnt change anything in afghanistan---people will use-legalised-or not- i will in the netherlands by the way.

  • Legalize all drugs and all the problems will be gone. Think about instead of believing the propaganda fed to you by the media. The illegality of drugs just puts them on the black market and puts the people in jail. The solution is staring everybody in the face, yet the people are afraid of change and their heads are filled with ideas and opinions not their own so life on the slave planet called the earth continuous. Can we evolve?

  • scrubbycritter: opium is freely and openly used in afghanistan, and it is solving anything, its only making things worse for the people. "Legalize all drugs and all the problems will be gone", sounds like someone is definitely on crack.

  • Who the fuck are you to tell people what they can and cant ingest? Yea thats right stfu. Worry about yourself and keep your nose out of peoples personal lives

  • lolo.. you ever heard of Afghani weed ? man they were smoking weed there before new world was discovered.

  • we should introduce them to weed. that way they can make a profit and still be able to get high.

  • If there's Hell on Earth here we go Afghanistan

  • dear afgans...u are a strong ppl. dont be bowed down by difficulties..we respect u. U have defeated soviets..opium is a smaller enemy for u.

    -an indian

  • i dont believe any media

  • If I lived in Afghanistan I'd be smoking that crap 24/7. What a lousy corner of the world.

  • what u mean lousy corner of the world do u even no what lousy means.

  • I spent six months in Kabul City helping rebuild Ghazi Stadium, forming soccer teams and trying to help the people rebuild/make their lives better. I've been to Bagrami Provence, Surobi, Musayi, Paghman, Shakar Dira, Mir Bacha Kat and Kalakan. I was shot at numerous times, but 99% of the people I met were warm and very hospitable. There are some areas where the people barely get by and basically eat dirt. I'd say that makes the place pretty lousy. They are victims of the US and the Taliban.

  • I dont know about that! Bout 90% of british heroin comes from Afgan! Theres a major heroin problem here like most places i suppose. So if thats true then there kinda shooting themselves in the foot. Its more to do with thats how alot of afgans make money ot feed there family. take away poppies and people will starve. They tried ot get farmers growing food instead but they hardly made shit and it goes off.

  • the fact is its not th first time they sold heroin to their own ppl,its well known CIA smuglled n traded heroin in the US n South america.Afghanistan is not unique climate or land, there r many other dry poor countries like it,why is tht they fail in that country alone whn supposedly the coalition n 'international community' r so 'comited' to afghanistan.Saudi arabia was a desert, now they export wheat n strawberries.West shd help n invest in Afganistan not just drop bombs

  • Its not as simple as that. Saudi Arabia may have a strawberry industry today, but it is built on the back of billions of oil dollars.

The solution to Afghan's opium problem is for the West to end its insane unwinnable war on drugs. Make heroin available to addicts in clinics. Then growing poppies will no longer be the quick route to cash, & we will not have the dilemma of [1] destroy the poppy fields = making war on Afghani people or [2] Allow poppy farming which funds Taliban weapons

  • the US and nato forces encourage opium production, they announce on the radio waves that they wont destroy the fields.they claim they can kill a man in a cave or launch precise strikes,u'd think they can bomb a vast field from the air,but no!they r encouraging it,its exported in army aeroplanes. The taliban burned the fields bt the US and nato r encouraging it so that the next generation of afghans is addicted & corrupted and weekend.just like they did with the blacks in the US

  • No friendlyuser1, the reason the US do not destroy the poppy fields is because many Afghan farmers have no choice but to grow poppies; either because a tribal landowner tells them to, or to feed themselves.

Destroying the poppy fields would turn the war into a war on the Afghani people in general. The US tries to go after the heroin smugglers -but the only long term answer is to cut their profits from under their feet, by making heroin available to addicts in the West; like the Swiss have done.

  • Lolz,ur solution ignores the poor afghan ppl totally like u dont even care or know they exist n concentrated on the 'europeans'.The 'long term' solution is to get water pipelines into Afg like the planned gas & oil pipelines n let afghans grow their wheat etc.Saudi Arabia has billions but didnt the US & europe pledge 30 billion 4 afg?A country sufficient in food doesnt rely on others hence independence, the US wants Afg to be dependent n addicted. The heroin funds the CIA not taliban.

  • Thats bullshit. If you even read what I said it was that destroying the poppy fields would hurt the people.

Of course building water pipelines & allowing them to grow whatever they want & roads so they can get to market is the long term answer, but they cant be built while the country is still at war. So legalising heroin in the consumer countries is the only way to end the traffic.

I dont deny the CIA is involved in drug trafficking, but saying heroin doesnt fund the Taliban is blind & stupid

  • LOL - I bet you get off on that dragons blood 'red opium' shit too- huh??

    fuckin' loozer.

Go back to sniffing Liquid Paper you tard.

and my mom said she'd beat your gay ass again if you rub up against her in the store one more time...

  • From:justlooking365 (17 hours ago)

"i got this comment from you. you must not understand my family was in the vietnam war and this save my life and my family .....you gay"

so what would that mean in English??

  • BUSH'S FAULT

  • Damn right! This is Bush's and Condi's fault!

Ths Untited States has been permamantly damaged by the Bush admistration.

  • I need atleast 60 mgs of hydrocodone 1 ten mg lortab wont do shit

  • That's a butt load of hydro! Perhaps you need to graduate to something more effective.

  • I tooks some morphine a few weaks ago but it made my stomach hurt like hell I like the thebaine based opiates or synthetics like methadone I can never find oxy contin for some reason but methadone is better anyway.

  • No we should just let al queda control afganistan

  • yes i have used it the same way for my baby son 10 years ago but he is not adicted. we are safe and sound and healthy.oops ijust used it 2 times.

  • in war times or if you are hidding from bad guy who wants to hurt you or your family and your kid is crying beacuse he/she doesn't understand the problem in hand if you have a choice of death or having a kid on drugs which one will you make......?

  • you're almost as big a retard as those parents that give their kids opium.

  • i got this comment from you. you must not understand my family was in the vietnam war and this save my life and my family .....you gay

  • Is killing me and filling me with sorrow

  • wah!...wah!...give me some opium!

  • I had real, white opium once, and I was high as a kite.

    The red stuff isn't real.

  • No such thing a white opium- you were smoking mold.

    just fucking google it

  • Google my cock!

I smoked it. It was as sweeter than your mom's snatch, and it turned my head into a balloon on a string.

It was melted through from a previous session in Boulder, Co, and I smoked what had dripped down into the resin of the piece.

I smoke A LOT, and I know the Truth of the matter.

Have fun with your moldy stash, schwag boy!

  • lmao good job getting ur 5 year old hooked on opium

  • Now theres a heck of a drink,,"Opium laced breast milk",,,,,,got milk?

  • in tests it has been shown that morphine(one of the active ingredients in opium) is almost exclusively non-addicting when given to rats in a comfortable and satisfying lifystyle. When rats are thrown in an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment, they tend to prefer morphine laced water over regular sugar water.

  • ive done opium a few times while i lived in torrance and it was not even addictive to me and if it was then it was very weak addiction!

i mean cigs are even more addictive!

  • yea opium is really hard 2 get addicted to u have 2 smoke like grams at a time 2 become addicted....well thats what i think b/c i smoke it all the time

  • jesus just spank your kids and tell them no geeze!

  • omg i never got addicted wen i used it

but this is really bad letiin kids and babys do

  • Is Oxycontin a type of opium? I use it for chronic daily headache and it works wonders.

  • yes it is an opioid and it really does work wonders on pain but just watch out since it is very addicting

  • its a type of Opiate

  • Heroin is way more addictive than opium, cigarettes are more addictive than opium...

  • regulate it heavily ,tax it,this would take the "black market" aspect out of the talibans hands. If tobacco and alcohol are so bad in usa, WHY DONT we make it illegal. corporations keep it legal. Oil is another terrible addiction we have, but its legal.Funds terrosim and wars. But it's legal.Poppies are grown from the earth initially, people have to be educated from the start to make an educated decision ,like usa ads about DRINKING AND DRIVING,Tobacco ads in the 70's everywhere!!!

  • Up until early 20th century opium was sold over the counter in various forms for pain relieve and cough syrup. It would be nice to have the freedom to buy it at a Walgreens. It would make a great pain reliever for a sore back.

  • my grandfather became addicted to morphine in the hospital during his few last months... he was the happiest I have ever seen him. People try to hide death and make you feel miserable in the hospital before you die. The doctor is supposed to heal, and when he/she has a person that is terminally ill, it's like a sober person dealing with a drunk. I say go out with a celebration, what ever you want that to be.

  • i know exactly what you mean..... therefore when im on my death bed i would love to just have heroin injected into me hourly!

  • Bad parenting is the west's fault? Well, maybe I shouldn't point fingers. We give Ritalin to our kids.

So if I understand this video, we'd see a lot more restless Talibans if we took them off opium? Hm, let me consider that for a moment...

  • ...there will always be some people who will chose to cope with life by using drugs-just give it to them! so they don't have to do crimes. the only war we should have is on poverty.

  • poverty's physical and emotional strain are solved with drugs in ghettos worldwide. drug addiction is slavery and i know! (two friends died of herion overdoses). but like sex, you can't just repress it, it never works. I think de-criminalization, prevention & education of young people, rehabilitation will help ALOT.

  • oh yeah, the chineese resturant that was next to my old job grew opium out in thier front garden, in the most police-ridden part of town. surprised they never got caught... i took all the opium sap though!

  • legalizing opium in theory is a good idea, people would get uncontaminated heroin, drug lords would go bust, crime levels due to opiate use would fall, the tax from purchasing it would be beneficial, but why has this great idea has not already happened?,overnight thousands of police,d.e.a,war mongers, custom workers and even governments would be out on a limb, much like warcrime has already touched on,the opium from Afghanistan alone stands at 80-100billion dollars.

  • Legalizing heroin and opium would be horrible. Do you realize how addicting they are? Have you ever tried either? Addiction would rise dramatically and that would cost a lot of money to treat.

  • Here's an arguement that could go on for eternity, legalizing heroin IMO would not make things worse than they already are, alcohol and tobacco kill more people than heroin each year, they're legal, so why not make opium legal?.

  • People dependant on both alcohol and tobacco cram up the hospital waiting times, new liver transplants, lung cancer, passive smoking.Accident rooms in hospitals all over the western world are abound with people suffering from attacks from people under the influence, stabbings, beatings and the like, not to mention the amount of police involved in call outs to these incidents

  • my point is, this is LEGAL, but deadly, but people get it, so let's not discriminate and HELP heroin addicts by legalizing the stuff

  • on the subject of the economy on this, Afghanistan produces 80-100billion pounds sterling of opium every year(a substantial amount), yet the country has nothing, not a sausage, let your government tell you the evils of legalizing opium, well for one, Afghanistan would shoot up through the ranks and be somewhere in the top 15-maybe 10, richest economies after 3 or so years, this money does end up somewhere, and certainly not Afghanistan

  • ALL PEOPLE FROM Aghnistan are opium-dealers

  • thats an ignorant thing to say, racist even, r u a yank by any chance?

  • very shallow comment mate, all Americans are fat would be a synonym to that

  • People forget that Opium poppies grow just as well in America as they do in Afghanistan. The DEA tries to hide this fact, but just look in a field sometime and you can spot them growing everywhere. They don't even need to be taken care of, they just grow and grow and grow.

  • Very true. They grow perfectly in North American climate. They grow much like weeds. Pesky things! :)

  • Opium has been used for thousands of years, why do we have to be worried about how other cultures use it.

  • The opium problem is best controlled at the source. Chemical precursors(for Heroin) should be controlled where they are produced.

Opium from poppies grown in Afghanistan is the source of 90 percent of worldwide heroin production.

CUT THE DEMAND FROM THE USA AND OPIUM POPPIES WILL DISAPPEAR!!

  • your right man. but it will never ever come so far. poor world. because war brings more money than drugs. hard bur real...

  • well why not make all drugs legal then we wont need to worry about drug wars ..and just tax them (the drugs) for medic costs ???
