I don't wish to argue with you, but you need to realize there is more to agriculture than what you have simply heard or read. See, the thing is....there are people who study matters such as this....Like Jonathan...like countless Vegans and organizations.... There are countless undercover studies and video documentation that support this. I believe the majority of people who eat and enjoy meat are making a comments from their own opinion. Because of people like this guy we are forced to raise animals in confinements. While it may not be the best way to raise an animal it is very efficient, generates several jobs, vital nutrients for crop production, and is a large boost to the economy. I know from living and working on a farm for my entire life that animals can feed a lot more people with the same amount of greens compared to a vegan.

Problems I have with this video

1. The reason he could not visit a meat packaging plant is because of the strict quality control they have inside the plant and the liability they would have incurred by letting some one in.

2.If swine flu has been traced back to hogs in North Carolina how come any hog that now has swine flu cannot transmit it to humans?

I have nothing against vegetarians but I do believe that some of them are being fed false information

Read the China Study, which was written by a man who grew up on a Meat Farm. He then became a Dr and was employed by the major meat suppliers in the USA to test meat and prove it is good for our health. Unfortunately he found the opposite (Which was deliberately hidden in the test results). I suggest you do more study and read or watch unbiased material. Just as I did

The goal of my comment was not to tell people whether or not his information was correct but to point out that there are several factors that he did not discuss that could have greatly influenced his results. I just wanted viewers to question where he got his information and realize that he does have a bias on this subject.

I would like to ask you where you've gotten your information? Because I AM a farmer, on a REAL farm and I have seen first hand exactly how the beef industry operates from birth till death. Yes I have been in a beef packing plant and if you had you would realize their deaths are very humane. Also, 50 -100 cow parts per burger? I get a 100 burgers from one cow. Animal matter is organic, how does it pollute water? And I'm pretty sure energy production is the largest contributer to global warming.

Please inform me as to which Beef Packing Plant you have been into......so that I can find out what type of plant was it...? and how many cows are slaughtered and processed there a year.....

I am actually a commercial producer raising and finishing approximately 200 head of Angus beef cattle each year, but do slaughter one a year for personal use. I have also been onsite of many nearby feedlot operations that hold 2,000 animals at a time, typically seeing around 10,000 head of animals in and out each year. I have visited a few different packing plants, most recently Cargill, which of course is a commercial plant processing around 5,000 head of cattle each day.

The only thing..I think you're probably fabricating this information..because anyone that produced meat would know it's not one cow at a time ground up for burger.......and I remember a couple of years ago...Cargill recalling almost 900,000 lbs because E. coli contamination....Ok...you've more than proved your point...next.

You have got to be one of those dam city slickers that thinks they know everything that goes on in the real world because they seen it on tv or the internet. The truth is that the small farmers are the ones that raise the cattle that are turned into the beef found in supermarkets. They are not raised in large confinements from birth, just finished in them and most of the time they are open feedlots not buildings.

lol...dude...wow..u sir, are an idiot..I live in the wilds of North Carolina, right smack dab in the middle of deer murdering country..and I am a Vegan..I've seen how small farmers raise cattle to be slaughtered here...in a field with the only water to drink from a slimy green pond that the cows not only drink from, but bathe too..and while they're in it...do this business, i.e. poop and pee in the same water they drink AND: Google meat industry before you make any more stupid comments.
