@enziflex Original organ by Robert Clicquot, inaugurated by Francois Couperin in 1711. The present instrument is an entirely new organ built by Boisseau and Cattiaux which was completed in 1995. The splendid period organ case made by Philippe Bertrand (designed by Robert de Cotte) dates from 1710. A magnificent French classical instrument, with a wonderful clear and powerful sound. IV/P/38. Built in the style of the Clicquot at Houdan.
Questo meraviglioso organo installato nella stupenda Cappella Reale di Versailles ritrova nuova vita grazie ad un eccellente restauro e alle bellissime interpretazioni e improvvisazioni del grande Michel Chapuis. Come un sogno ci fanno tornare indietro nel tempo, ai fasti di Louis XIV, le Roi Solieil. Grazie!
