man I grew up with SD80MACS in the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. A good 75% of trains would have a SD80Mac on them. Ever since the merger they have pretty much been gone on my line. I occasionaly get 1 about every 3 months or so....

Those SD80's are real pretty in their new paint, but it would be nice if NS re-painted them in CR Blue & white (with NS reporting marks and numbers) as heritage units.

I havent been up close to an SD80MAC since they were still CR and I was a tiny eight year old waving at them in my back yard..

Missed them a few times down here lately, they were on H48 right out back of my house, and I missed them! What luck.

Sweet-I saw 13G from David. When I was in Ridley Park yesterday, there was a catfish and an NS/CR SD60I parked on a siding. I'll be purchasing a CSX SD70MAC tonight for my n scale layout. 5*, a favorite, and a channel post. LOVE THAT HORN!!!!!!!!!
