Taffy Nivert as she was then, along with Bill Danoff wrote and co-wrote probably two of the most popular songs of the 1970's. When this song hit in 1976; few people realized that they were the "Fat City" referred to on John Denver's "Country Roads" single. Jon Carroll and Margot Chapman also married after forming "Starland" and all former memebers have reunited from time to time performing with their children at select concerts.
